I've been considering having a bit of a meet-n-greet/holiday party of some sort here on the second floor. While I don't have a lot of room in my apartment, perhaps we can spread out into the hallway (if no one's opposed--what say you, my neighbor in #209?) or maybe have something in the lobby the weekend of the 17th.

She was soaking wet, half-starved and looked like she'd gotten into a scuffle (hopefully with another cat). Good thing there's a convenience store on the way home--I had to hide her in my jacket to buy her food.

I'm glad she's here with me, now. More than anyone can imagine.

In an AWESOME stroke of poor timing & bad luck, my car died literally on the way to buy Christmas presents. One late-night tow and a shiny new transmission later, I need some extra pocket money. I'm actually pretty handy, I really do windows, and I'm a passable tutor for anything EMT/anatomy (no jokes plz) related. Any takers?

Hello! If anyone's noted boxes going up to the second floor, they're mine. I'm Prudence, but you can call me Pru, it's less puritanical.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to meeting people face to face, though this forum is awesome considering how much I'm online ANYWAY. REALLY looking forward to the Halloween party! I hope that even though I'm a newbie I'm still invited :D. If anyone needs help with their costumes, I'd totally be happy to help out - I work as an FX/prop designer, so I have the talent. Or so I'd like to think, LOL.

Um, yeah. That's about it.

Oh, and I was going to throw up some last minute decorations along the second floor, since I'm the only one on it? Hope no one minds. It won't be anything as elaborate as what the landlord did, or so I hear. Sounds like it was a hoot. Anyone have pictures left over from that? I'd love to see it.

OH. And. Really, I'm almost done, I swear, I never talk this much - if anyone's on the L4D2 servers, my nick is last_girl. Nick is my character, if you touch him, I will end you. Looking forward to meeting everyone :D

I'm not sure about this party deal... Not much of a social creature. I have a trunk of unused costumes bought over the years from chickening out. Some of them are from the third grade and utterly useless. I should just not go.

Hey everyone. My name's Elijah - or Eli if you want, most people call me that - and I just moved into the building. Do people actually use this forum thing or no? It seems like a cool idea. But anyway, I'm sorry if the traditional 'moving in' noises are annoying. No one seems to be on the ninth floor so it's pretty quiet up here? I don't have much stuff anyway so it didn't take me long to get situated. I've been hearing horror stories about the elevator but so far it's worked fine for me. And apparently a girl was beaten in the park nearby? No way I can tell my dad that. He'd make me come home faster than a stupid meme moves on the internet

I'm a native Californian so I didn't move here from any strange exotic land, I'm taking community college classes, and I hope to study Astronomy someday. And the song 'California Gurls' just sucks, sorry, but it's true. That's probably all boring, isn't it? I don't have a car so I'm a big advocate for public transportation. I don't even have my license so But I'd really rather hear about you so I'll just stop typing. Uh

It won't break my heart if you cheer for another team, though I might have to go cry in my pillow like an emo kid for a while. Anyway, I'm not going to be around much until the season's over, since my coach is an evil bastard who doesn't believe in days off and I'm commuting when I'm not tired enough that I just crash with a teammate. Introduce yourself if you see me around, though, but I'm gonna warn you that I suck with names. And hey, if anyone wants Chargers tickets, I can get you a discount. I kind of have an in.
