Hey babes. I have two new ones for y'all today, one Aztec and one Voodoo. This journal is Papa Ghede, he's a psychopomp and considered the good counterpoint to Baron Samedi. (And I will seriously shower whoever picks him up with love, since now I have both his wife and counterpart in game. :D)

The second one is Xochipilli, twin brother to Xochiquetzal, Aztec god of pleasure, dance, butterflies, and...other...stuff, cut me some slack, it's 5:30 a.m. and I slept maybe five hours.

However! I'm excited to throw both of them at people, so plots would be grand! Love you guys! ♥

Hey babies. I'm moving again. Circumstances have nose dived and I basically had to go grab my things and get out of the house. My best friend is letting me crash at her place tonight, and my dad said I could stay with him for a couple weeks til I get back on my feet. She and her boyfriend went down with me to help grab things and pack my car, and now we're all back. We're all safe, thanks to a guest appearance from the Pawnee County sheriff's deputy that I arranged.

Love all you guys. And hopefully I'll be around more now, because the padre has internet. I'm off now to go unwind with the bestie and relax before my drive tomorrow.

Edit, 8/14: I've made it to my dad's house and I'm settling in. Hopefully I can start poking at things once I've eaten and unpacked a little. ♥

Hey lovelies! This is just a quick note from me, before I run out to get dinner and gas before work. Sunday night is my last night at Boss', and on Monday, I'm headed down to my new job/residence, which is about an hour and a half away. I've landed a full-time nanny gig for the son of one of my soon-to-be-ex coworkers, whose last day is also Sunday. (They're losing us both at once. I'd feel bad if I wasn't so pleased to be leaving.

Oh wait. No I wouldn't.)

Anyway. I'm headed down there on Monday, and the house doesn't have internet hooked up. That, unfortunately, isn't happening until September. I will still have my phone, and hopefully on the weekends I'll be able to go to a library or a coffee shop, or something. But for that 6 weeks or so, I'll probably be around less, because I only have so much data.

Also, this means my schedule is going to change. I'll probably be on a more 'typical' schedule, instead of going to bed at 6 a.m. and getting up at 3 p.m., or something. (This should be interesting, I've been a night owl as long as I can remember.) So the chances of catching me during the day are probably about to be a lot higher. Please feel free to still email/message me if you want, and I'll get to them as soon as I can.

I'm really looking forward to this job, because it's a great opportunity, but it'll probably take a lot of my time and energy until I establish a pattern for my days. I still love you guys a bunch! I just might be absent/tired/scattered for a couple weeks.

Ugh, you guys, the people in my life continue to give me a massive headache. I've been dealing with my college roommate's drama, as well as a host of problems that I have created for myself, and they're all conspiring to make me feel run down and tired. So if I owe you tags/replies/emails or the like, I'll try and get to them once I'm off work tonight, or failing that, tomorrow, since I'm not in til 10 that night.

Hey guys! I have two for you today, one Greek and one Roman. This guy here is Pallas, Titan of war and father of the fantastic four. He's currently in the Army, which he figures is making the best of a bad situation, since he's bound to America and can't go off to fight.

The second one is Salus, the Roman goddess of health and well-being. Not just individual well-being, but that of the Roman state as well. She's sort of equated with Hygeia, but it's a rough equivalence at best, I think. She's currently a doctor with her own practice, so stop by if you're in need of help! She'll fix you up.
