I've never been used as an example of anything before except as a cautionary tale about sleep deprivation and caffeine use prior to exams.

I don't know how all you players get used to seeing your names in the paper all the time -- this once stopped me in my tracks!

[Montrose]

As you all know, George took a nasty hit in our Ballycastle match. We've had many discussions with George about what would be the best decision moving forward, and we all want to see him recover so he can join us on the pitch again. Shona and I have spoken to our beaters about what this means for them the rest of the season and what the plan is so now we're letting the team know.

We want to give George the best opportunity for a full recovery so we're resting him for the rest of the season and putting him on the injured roster.

Unfortunately we now have half a season and the playoffs (which we will be making so I'm counting it in our plans) a beater down. Shona and I will be gone for a few days this week and next while we scout for a beater to fill in for the rest of the season as soon as possible.

Whoever we find, I hope you all do your best to make them feel welcome and a part of the team.

George, wishing you a smooth recovery, lad. The club rooms are always open to you as are all team events, and I hope if you're up for it later you come by to help us out where you can.

What's our order? We've got Italy, Bulgaria, and Estonia on the list. I hope to godric that one of them is available and can do the job.

For that scouting trip with Shona we've been talking about: Anything you want me to bring back? Souvenirs? Won't have much time but I'm sure I can find something. Plus, if they have anything famous and herbology related you know I won't know about it unless you ask.

Just wanted to let you all know that after talking to some of my colleagues, I'm going to be leaving off scrimmaging with Montrose. It was pointed out to me that this could give an appearance of favouritism, and I don't want to get the team in any trouble. I'll still be around to practise with you privately, Lex and Micah, but you'll have to find another beater for team scrimmages. Sorry.
