[Minato carefully looks around the beach. There's no sunlight peeping from that overcast sky and the sand was a bit cold to touch. He rubbed his fingers together, looking to the side where Sentinels were slowly patrolling.]

[He wasn't sure of this idea anymore to be honest. It had sounded great in his head, but now that he was actually outside in the cold he was starting to have second thoughts.]

[But his courage is badass, so Minato reaches down and pulls off his shoes and socks, shrugs off the scarf and jacket and shirt, slips his pants off over his knees, and tries vainly not to shiver too much in his swimming trunks.]

[Harry finally got out of the restraints! Guess what this means? No, guess.

... That's right, he's wandering around the dome, seeing the sights and all that. The dome is very strange, as far as he's concerned (not as strange as Hogwarts though - hi, moving staircases!) but seeing as he's stuck here, he may as well familiarize himself with how it works, where things are, and all that.

Of course, the dome IS pretty big, so he'll only be sticking to a few spots for now...]

[Today certainly has something new for her to deliver. At first, she'd had a simple bit of joy about delivering magazines, not even giving the contents much attention beyond ensuring that the inmate isn't too young for the material.]

[But she may have accidentally dropped one of the magazines in the post office, and it opened to a certain page, and... well, it answered some questions about her human friends that she didn't even know she had. On top of THAT, the incident was technically a violation of the recipient's privacy. It's a double-whammy of fluster and shame and she could not put them in discrete envelopes fast enough.]

[At least, thanks to Ribbons' guidance, she's dressed very warmly while she shuffles around the dome. She's even got a nice colorful scarf to offset the darker tones of the outfit. Not that it does much to hide her blushing.]

I've noticed that there's a significant lack of animal life around here. The few animals we do have are either fellow inmates, domestic, or rabid. What a shame. I've always liked bird song. Fish are poignant and charming, but unfortunately silent.

At the risk of sounding terribly mundane -- what's your favorite animal? [♥] If you don't have one, then go ahead and complain about the ones you hate instead.

[ooc: you can find Zelman sitting on a park bench. so normal. except for the fact that he's virtually untouched by the light snowfall. if you venture close enough, you'll realize that the snow never had a chance, because all of it is melting before it can get close.]

[This may be the rudest awakening Mami's ever had. To her, she went to sleep for a few moments (or so she thinks,) woke up, walked back to her farm...

And someone's tried to torch it. Oh, there's proof of reconstruction (and it looks like there may be another farmer on the premises - she'd have appreciated a "hey, neighbor, I'm gonna move in,") and somehow the weather's colder than it should be, but... Someone. Tried. To. Torch. Her. Farm.

She can't quite keep the despair out of her voice as she cries into the communicator.]

...Who did this?! Who took a torch t' mah farm?! Ah don' remember doin' nothin' to anyone--- Why'd ye do this?!

[Ryu has armed himself with blankets. He has one wrapped around his shoulders right now, and there's a few more in the background. He looks uncharacteristically grumpy.]

Hey everyone! We got the movie theater reserved for tonight's start of The Steel Samurai! So make sure to stop by movie theater at 8 PM tonight! We'll have plenty of snacks for everyone! Don't be late or you'll miss the start!

[Shortly after 8 PM, the movie theater's lights dim and big screen lights up with the action of The Steel Samurai.

It's a generic tokusatsu/samurai TV series centered on one hero, the titular Steel Samurai, as he fights against the Evil Magistrate and his minions to defend Neo Olde Tokyo. You can be assured it is filled with many cheesy one liners, battles under the full moon, attacks shouted out, and its own theme song.

Each episode has a short intermission after it to allow for bathroom breaks or snacks, with a snack counter manned by a bot giving out soda pop, candy, popcorn, chips, and so on.

Maya scheduled the show going through the sixth episode or so, with this segment of the series ending a bit past 11 PM.]

[Well, getting there was a little bit of an adventure, but Ryu manages to make it to Fou-Lu and Saix's house intact. Maybe he should have brought something - that's what you did when you visite someone else's house, right?]

[... Oh well. He knocks on the door, smiling.]

[Now that the ball and chain is gone, Vanitas finally feels power returning to him. Off in Sector Four, darkness bleeds off of him. From it spawns five little creatures that instantly pool into the ground and scatter off in different directions. Unversed are now unleashed upon the denizens of the asylum.

He's noted that he can't create more, possibly due to more restrictions. Vanitas growls a little under his mask, irritation levels rising further. Just what does that machine think it is... Watching the Floods wander off, he sets himself to looking around. Nothing suspicious about some teenager in a mask walking around. Nope, not at all. It's about time he got better used to the layout of this prison. Perhaps he could run into someone that could potentially be useful...

The problem is the Unversed. Vanitas isn't stupid enough to be caught near them. He'll steer clear of the little horde he's created, only spawning more of the current batch meets an untimely end. After all... The thing they do best is appearing when you aren't quite expecting them too and attacking.]



((ooc note: The Unversed can be found in any sector you wish to be in. They usually come in groups of 2. Since Vanitas can simply create more as soon as another is defeated, encounters can also occur at any time during the day. Vanitas is also available for action, though only in the morning.))

Hi everyone!

I talked to Euphie yesterday and I decided to teach my own class on meditation! It's going to be for beginners so you don't have to know anything about it to sign up.

It's going to be every few days from eleven A.M. to noon. [Looking down to a paper in front of her to read] I guess on days ending in two, five, and nine.

[Looking back up.]If you're interested, you should sign up! We probably won't have class tomorrow since it's too soon, so it'll probably start on the Eighty-Ninth Day. But feel free to ask me any questions you have.

But besides that, I'm also going to have a party sometime soon to show The Steel Samurai episodes! I realized a lot of the newer kids here haven't even seen it before for some reason. So all the kids should make sure to come to it! Adults can come too if they want to not be old fogeys too.

[Armed with a watering can and other gardening implements she scrounged up, Xion is trying her hand at fixing up Mami's garden. Watering the plants is going easily enough, but she's not sure what to do about the burned patches. Why would someone want to burn Mami's garden, anyway? :( She's hardly the farmer that Mami was, but she's doing her best.]
