Gooseberry High (OOC)

Hey everyone! I mentioned this earlier this month, but just a reminder that I'm back on "hiatus" starting tomorrow because I have people coming for Thanksgiving and staying through Saturday or Sunday. I'll still try to get to things as I can, but we'll see how that goes! And I should be around for some Amortentia shenanigans on Sunday.

ADDED: Because I fail and didn't say this initially, Happy Thanksgiving to anyone else celebrating. Let's all appreciate our families/friends and enjoy the day and eat too much pumpkin cake and stuff!

Some mod housekeeping notes:

• Petitions for fifth characters are open! The requirements are still as listed in a previous post, and we'll see how it goes in December before we make any changes. You can only hold your desired character once you've passed AC this month and your petition has been approved. ( If you'd like to get a headstart on that... )


• Regarding using the names of unplayed characters on the roster, since we've had a few questions about this: ( Also cut for length, this post is really long I'm sorry. )


• We've been thinking about options for our players, and so we'd like to give you the opportunity change or add major things for your character such as core personality traits, talents, skills and history points. Just drop us a line if you ever wish to do this! We understand that personality traits and facts about characters usually end up differing in play and as they go through development, but if you feel your character is developing in a way that deviates from the application you submitted, please just shoot us an email to discuss. We'll also gladly shuffle around classes and clubs. :) For instance, Calvin ended up a lot more abrasive in play than what Meggie wrote in her app, which is fine! But if Meggie decided to say Calvin is a fantastic artist like his father (which isn't unreasonable but there's no evidence of that in his app), it would be very appreciated if she ran it by the mods first. (For the record, Calvin is still a terrible artist.)


• Regarding tagging your character's name in the IC comm: yes, you can add your character's tag to any post! The mods will always tag posts with the OP's tag, but we'll leave it up to you if you'd like to tag your character on posts they've responded to or IC/OOCs they've taken part in, in order to make tracking activity easier for you.
