You Are HERE

Peyton walked outside to the two trees Layla had grown for her mom and Ellie. She had picked some flowers for both of them and had taken them with her.
She kneeled down in front of her mom's. She loved Ellie but she had loved her more like a friend than like a mother. That place would always be Anna Sawyer's.
"Hey Mom" she said "It was a long time we hadn't talked, I know. But I had no place to do so until now. But see what great friends I found here too? Layla grew this tree for you so I could have somewhere to talk to you" she smiled and talked some more: how she had gotten there, meeting Lucas again, meeting new people and making new friends...
She turned to Ellie too a few times and talked to her tree about her music and how the CD they had created did in the shops and so on.
She had missed talking to them.

Who: Wyatt, Layla and Lucas

Layla was still siting there with the sick chipmunk, Lucas kneeling by her and Iggy and Frick laying on the couch when Wyatt suddenly orbed in. Layla was surprised and almost screamed, then she realized it was Wyatt.

"Wyatt, Oh god, hi!"

Wyatt just got Layla's letter. He hadn't realized how long it had been since he has seen or really interacted with anyone. Now that he knows he is looking for Layla. If he doesn't find her or meet someone else along the way he will settle in at the pool for a nice swim.

She wrote out her note, and signed it, putting it into the tubing.

It read:

To whom it may concern:

I am coming here first. I have a sick set of baby chipmunks I rescued, as well as a rescued baby fox pup(not sick but could use the nutrients of baby formula). I don't know if the pups are sensitive to the formula so there is regular formula and then there is special formula for sensitive tummies. I need infant formula and I need infant related medicines. Like liquid baby aspirin, Benadryl, Maalox. I am coming here before I head to the clinic or Manny. I am afraid to give them lollipops due to the sugar content and the fact that candy and animals do not mix well. I am used to treating animals because of my mother. I know infant formula medications and formula is totally fine for them. Baby bottles and eye droppers, ear wax cleaners, long q-tips and animals nail clippers are also all appreciated. Do I need to see Manny, Ana or you? I figure I go to one place at a time and cancel out one resource at a time.

She sat back with Frack in hand. A hot water bottle and a fluffy towel wrapped around the little girl chipmunk.

Lucas was setting the table for the dinner he and Layla would be having with Jack. Layla was in the kitchen area making dinner. He finished setting the table and walked into the kitchen area.

"Smells good," he said walking up behind her and kissing her neck. "Food smells good too," he said smiling.

Lucas walked to Manny's door with a list. He had gotten Layla's permission for a joint account. He knocked on Manny's door with a list in hand.

Mimi is sitting by the lake, enjoying the warmer weather, in a bikini top and a short skirt. Her shoes have been kicked off, and she's just enjoying the sunshine. She might go for a swim later, or she might just sunbathe more.

She's getting kind of bored, and would love some company.

Lucas was sitting by the lake. He was watching the gentle waves and just thinking. He had little Iggy with him. 

He was thinking about Layla mostly. How much he loved her and how much he missed her. He knew she needed this, he understood. But he still missed her terrible. He wondered if she missed him. Iggy was running around chasing his tail and nudging Lucas's leg looking for attention. Lucas petted him and rubbed his tummy, smiling at the fox cub.

He lay on his back and closed his eyes, soaking up the warm rays of the sun. So many different thoughts running through his mind. Little Iggy jumped on his stomach, curled up and fell asleep, snoring loudly.

Lucas was laying in bed. He was tossing and turning finding it hard to sleep. He missed Layla a lot and wasn't able to sleep as well without her next to him.

He sighed and gave it up as a lost cause. He got out to the bed and got a glass of water. He put on some clothes, grabbed his key and left the room.

He wandered down the hall, wondering if he should knock on Peyton's door. He decided against it since she would probably be asleep. He went downstairs and to the library. He picked up a copy of The lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the ring and walked to the bar.

He sat at a table and ordered a beer and started to read some of the book, taking an occasional sip of his beer.

*Layla was frustrated with a few things, no matter how many times she told him she wanted a 'specific' thing to occur. It was promised and never happened. Not that everything else wasn't satisfactory, heck things were amazing. He was her best friend, lover and confidant. She was also a little frustrated by her friends situation and her inability to get out too much on her own. Darn it though, she was trying. This was proof. It wasn't far, but it was outside. She was typing away on the computer deep in through. Hanging out in a pair of shorts and a tank top with a sports bra underneath, plus some homemade sunblock she concocted with herbs and oils. Iggy was frolicking around nearby, off and on coming to her, nipping and barking an playing. She'd scratch his head, rub his bloaty belly, get him snoring on his back for a little while before he'd awaken and begin it all over again. *

Kara has been sitting on the rock near the lake for a few hours when the sun starts to rise. It seemed as good a place as any to sit, and the alcohol is warming her up nicely despite the early morning chill.

She doesn't want to go back into the Residence - she really doesn't want to see Lee any time soon. He probably just said that thing about Zak to hurt her, but he'd been right.

She killed him.

She throws her head back and gulps down some more ambrosia, the liquid burning its way down her throat. It's almost empty, and she's managed to drink a sizeable amount of the whiskey, too. The pain is starting to dull, and she leans back on her hands, looking out over the lake.

She's barefoot and scruffy looking, and is definitely drunk, should anyone be brave enough to approach her.

Who: Murphy MacManus and OTA
When: Sunday afternoon after the chapel
Where: Wandering the grounds

*Murph was in a good mood. He missed his brother and Da like fucking crazy, but at least he had Dawn Here. He was wandering about, really going nowhere. He missed shooting. So, when he found himself at the archery range, he took off his pea-coat and found a bow and some arrows, a spare arm guard and began taking shots. Come talk to him.*

Lucas had headed down to the basketball court with his basketball in hand. It was a few days after the honeymoon had ended and he wanted to shoot some hoops. Layla was doing some research so he headed down on his own. He's been out there for about two hours already. He dribbled the ball, moving it under his legs a few times and then took a shot that soared through the hoop. He ran to grab the ball again.

Everything was in readiness. The night before, they had set up everything with Ginny and Jamie's help. There was a small, white archway at the end of a bridal path of white, with chairs along both sides of the path. Small, twinkling lights hovered just over the ground, also compliments of Ginny.

There was a small area for dancing and tables for sitting and eating underneath a tent, and the breakfast reception would soon be spread--the party would go on for hours, perhaps, if people so wished.

Before the sun has even peeked over the horizon, when the dawn is just a purple dream in the distant sky, the priest shows up to make sure all is in readiness. He does so love weddings, the joy they bring to all who attend them, and it is a peaceful thing to be here first, before anyone, even the groom, has shown up.

It is a lovely morning, warm, with the mist still on the ground and the birdsong in the air.

And so he walks through the set up, making sure that nothing is inordinately wet, before the guests start arriving.

And
arrive they do, blinking in the early morning, as many as want to come and are awake at this time. The priest greets them all pleasantly and guides them to seats.

Sparhawk and Jamie Madrox, his witness, come closer to the time, and he spends his time waiting and talking pleasantly with the priest--or at least as pleasantly as can be managed, with the imminence of the wedding. The bridegroom's eyes keep stealing towards the Residence, seeking the form of his bride. His witness nudges him, making a murmured comment, and Sparhawk laughs.

And the birds keep singing as the purple dawn turns to pink and red, and then there is a stirring out by the Residence, and the front door swings open.

Where: The gym, each doing their own work outs. Pups welcome.

*Lucas and Layla head out from their room to the gym. They were laughing and joking, holding hands. As soon as they got to the gym, Lucas began to stretch and do his weight training, Layla would ask Lucas later for some tips on some weight usage. For now, she as in the middle of the gym on the mat beginning to do some general stretching and yogic poses. She would tackle the rock climbing wall next. Come bother them. *

Where:: Set on the golf course of Here, Wedding and reception. Under an arch of 13 cherry blossom trees. Reception held under a tent set up by Ms. Ginny Weasley.
Why:: Lucas and Layla want to finally set in stone their wedding nuptials with their friends and family like members of Here.
Summary: Wedding and Reception of Lucas Scott and Layla Williams-Scott, R for language tops.
Status: Incomplete.

(OOC notes: OK, I fretted on how to do this, so what I plan to do is to create a photo-album for the dress, an idea of what the wedding and then the reception is to look like. I will explain in as much detail as possible what everything will look like. The albums, I hope, will cut down on image overload. I will lay everything out as far as who is doing what, with who and where. I will do my best to separate the post into the bride and groom with wedding party and pastor. Then the next section can be set up as the guests reactions to the event. A separate post will be made for the reception. It will be more free for all, I will try an assimilate some type of order to it. What I think might work best is to have the wedding party separate, then each member invited to the wedding gets to post a blurb as a reaction to the wedding. Then I will make another post for them walking down the aisle to the end and people then can each post another reactionary blurb. the reception will be more thread like. This way things don't get clogged. I will add a string from each person Lucas gave out an invite too, then a blank section for those coming with a guest as a date or who didn't get an invite handed to them, but picked them up from the lobby. You can add your own names, also please add your own tags as you join, so we get an actual account of who showed and not a wrong account based on misinformation. Below I will list all the people involved in the wedding and reception events, their song, who is giving speeches, special dances, etc. Each will have their own string at the top. The free for all type threads can happen after all those threads happen. I figure we can attack each section as people join, but there will be a placeholder there for that specific thread to happen. Lucas had a picnic basket and blanket in hand as Layla and him headed down to the trees that she had grown in memory of his uncle Keith and his friend Jimmy Edwards.

He held her hand and smiled warmly at her as he led her down to the trees. When they reached them he lay the blanket down and knelt down. He waited for her to join him.

He was wearing a black suit, white shirt and a black tie.
