Status: Incomplete.
(OOC notes: OK, I fretted on how to do this, so what I plan to do is to create a photo-album for the dress, an idea of what the wedding and then the reception is to look like. I will explain in as much detail as possible what everything will look like. The albums, I hope, will cut down on image overload. I will lay everything out as far as who is doing what, with who and where. I will do my best to separate the post into the bride and groom with wedding party and pastor. Then the next section can be set up as the guests reactions to the event. A separate post will be made for the reception. It will be more free for all, I will try an assimilate some type of order to it. What I think might work best is to have the wedding party separate, then each member invited to the wedding gets to post a blurb as a reaction to the wedding. Then I will make another post for them walking down the aisle to the end and people then can each post another reactionary blurb. the reception will be more thread like. This way things don't get clogged. I will add a string from each person Lucas gave out an invite too, then a blank section for those coming with a guest as a date or who didn't get an invite handed to them, but picked them up from the lobby. You can add your own names, also please add your own tags as you join, so we get an actual account of who showed and not a wrong account based on misinformation. Below I will list all the people involved in the wedding and reception events, their song, who is giving speeches, special dances, etc. Each will have their own string at the top. The free for all type threads can happen after all those threads happen. I figure we can attack each section as people join, but there will be a placeholder there for that specific thread to happen. IF anyone has a question, email me or google talk me at slavetoserendipity@gmail.com. The pictures I will be posting will not be exact renditions of how the areas will look, just a general idea.)
The Wedding of Mr. Lucas Eugene Scott and Ms. Layla Sophie Williams. Please come and celebrate with them on this wonderful and special day.
During the wedding the couple have prepared their own special vows to be recited.
Best Man: Captain Jack Harkness
Man of Honor: Sam Winchester
Ring-bearer: Ignus, Jr.
Reception:
Poem for Peyton to recite given to Layla from Lucas during the engagement:
Remember tonight, for it is the beginning of always. A promise. Like a reward for persisting through life so long alone. A belief in each other and the possibility of love. A decision to ignore, simply rise above the pain of the past. A covenant, which at once binds two souls and yet severs prior ties. A celebration of the chance taken and the challenge that lies ahead. For two will always be stronger than one, like a team braced against the tempest civil world. And love will always be the guiding force in our lives. For tonight is mere formality. Only an announcement to the world of feelings long held. Promises made long ago. In the sacred spaces of our hearts,
Special dance: In lieu of the mother/son and father/daughter dance we are having Lucas dance with his best friend from Tree Hill, Ms. Peyton Sawyer and Layla is to dance with Lucas' best man, Captain jack Harkness.
The dance between the newly married couple, their special wedding song will be: Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
The Best Man and the Man of Honor can recite their speeches here if they are so inclined.

OOC notes: Layla and Lucas' requests to change how the nuptials are to be given.
I just wanted to make sure that the whole antiquated man and wife line would be stricken and then be amended to husband and wife, since a marriage is an equal partnership and we are no longer in a period of time where a woman in a marriage is merely chattel. Also, I have a big problem with love, honor and obey. Another antiquated statement. To cherish and uplift, in sickness and health, 'til death do you part' or 'for as long as we both shall live' is just fine. I don't believe in the labels that the status of money would put on a relationship. For richer or poorer never made much sense to me, if you are truly in love you should come to realize your life will always be in a flux in some manner i.e. financially, spiritually, mentally, physically etc. Problems crop up, for everyone. Society focuses to deeply on the shackles of money and what it can buy them. You are provided with all that you need, when you need it and a person, a couple, can take a lot more then they realize. If they cannot there is always counseling.

Ana Clark is there to make sure people stay healthy and so that way she can also have all the important wedding supplies for Layla and the guests. She is the go to guy for it all. She will give out Antihistamine lollipops, tissues, has a full first aid kit, special meds for any of the rent kids and Lucas, she gives them out to anyone who might need them. Her essentials list from her own wedding:
Pack Essential Makeup Supplies
Of course, we want to make sure the bride looks her best. So be sure to pack any necessary makeup, q-tips and tissues are a must in case you get a little teary.
Bring Quick Dancing Fix self you're a dancing queen, make sure to pack some Band-Aids to take care of blisters, as well as some extra deodorant, and maybe some earplugs if the band gets too loud.
Take Some Hair Supplies
You most likely spent a lot of time getting your hair done. Keep your hairdo secure with packing extra bobby pins, ponytail holders, hairspray, and a brush.
Don't Forget Mints
To keep your mouth fresh, pack gum, breath mints, and maybe some dental floss, too. Probably might be a good idea to have a bridesmaid keep a mint or two handy throughout the day.
Pack Hand Care Items
You'll be shaking a lot of hands on your wedding day, so bring along some antibacterial and moisturizing hand creams so your skin stays smooth and clean. Chances are you paid a lot of money to have your nails done, so keep a kit with clippers and a file, as well as a bottle of clear polish.
Bring a Small Emergency Sewing Kit
Worried about losing a hook on your gorgeous gown? Pack a small sewing kit with extra buttons, hooks, and scissors.
Take Extra Eye Care
For brides who wear contact lenses, its a good idea to bring an extra pair of lenses in case you lose one. Bring contact cleaning solution, a case, and perhaps even a spare of pair of glasses.
Bring Necessary Medical Supplies
Don't forget any important prescription medications, as well as aspirin, allergy pills, and medicine for indigestion or upset stomachs. Sanitary pads and tampons are a smart idea, too.

If you are having an outdoor wedding, also bring some bug spray and sunscreen for you and your bridal party.

Layla and Sam are at a separate location before the wedding. She had come out a week earlier, rode one of the horses side saddle, and tried it on with a full skirt. She picked a white mare with gray spots. She had taken some green and blue ribbon, braiding the mare's mane and tail and combed her before the wedding. Then she went back inside to shower, dress, and get ready. All the while she was in Sam Winchester's company.
Sam led Layla on horseback, when the time came, down to the wedding location, she arrives sitting side saddle on the horse, smiling brilliantly. She was excited that the day had finally arrived and all she could do was keep her eyes out for Lucas. Before getting on the horse, Layla had already given Sam a pin she had made as a thank you, (it was made of silver, depicted on the pin was a tall oak tree with a boy laying underneath, reading a book, the pin was for his lapel, she made a similar pin for Jack and had given it to Lucas the night previous so he may put it on for the wedding.
Sam escorts Layla off the horse, she is wearing a cream colored wedding dress. The details on the dress were of roses, the train was rounded and a little longer in the back, strapless. She wore a scalloped veil, with flower detail, colored cream like the gown, a small crown of baby's breath rested on her head. Her hair was down, her makeup done in neutral tones. She had on very strapy cream colored sandals with a heel to it. Sam then looped her arm through his and leads her down the aisle to Lucas.
Ignus Jr., goes down the aisle first, he was carrying a very small basket with the rings inside of it. The fox pup was rescued and rehabilitated by Lucas and Layla, with help from Iggy, the winged boy, who arrived after the explosion. He has two tails and on each he has a pink and blue ribbon tied in a bow around each tail. Soon, thereafter, little Ignus, exhausted hustles over to Iggy and then lays on his back, as is his want, and falls to sleep, snoring.

There are boughs of flowers woven all overhead to give an arched effect. There are candles in wrought iron sconces and covered with glass. Simple wooden chairs for the guests to sit on. Where the bride and groom stand with the priest there is ice woven to look like trellis', made by Bobby Drake. Along these trellis are white roses and interspersed here and there are tiger-lilies. Behind the priest is an ice sculpture, made also by Bobby. It is a man and a boy on a fishing trip. The man has on the fishing hat and vest and they are both holding the fishing pole. There is a white runner along the aisle strewn with cream colored rose petals. Boughs of honeysuckle, ivy, and other white flowers are used for the arches. Behind the ice sculpture is an arch of thirteen Cherry Blossom Trees (grown for the occasion by Layla) and when the bride and groom kiss, Layla will trigger the pink petals to rain down upon them and the guests. There are fairy lights everywhere. String quartet music can be heard playing the wedding march as Sam leads her down the aisle. When the wedding is over and the bride and groom recite their vows and make their commitment, they will walk down the aisle, rose petals will be thrown on them as they walk down the aisle. They will then disappear for however long it takes to put the wedding reception tent and tables up that Ginny Weasley helped to put up. There are many tables and chairs, no seating arrangements. The reception area will be decorated much like the wedding. The ice statue will be moved to behind where the bride and groom sit. There will be banquet style tables set up for people to pick and choose what they wish to eat. Music will be provided during the reception, as will speeches and special dances. There will be a small floor for everyone to dance upon. Two cakes will be provided, one for the bride and groom made with vegan ingredients and one for the populace made with regular ingredients. The cakes will be made of basic ingredients, vanilla, chocolate and raspberry filling. There will be a very small dessert bar and an open bar for drinks. All of which has been cleared a week previous with the management. They have provided all the things she put in her blueprints and all the added extras she wrote down. It is a semiformal event, where everyone can just sit where they want and mill about as they please.
