Lucas was sitting by the lake. He was watching the gentle waves and just thinking. He had little Iggy with him.

He was thinking about Layla mostly. How much he loved her and how much he missed her. He knew she needed this, he understood. But he still missed her terrible. He wondered if she missed him. Iggy was running around chasing his tail and nudging Lucas's leg looking for attention. Lucas petted him and rubbed his tummy, smiling at the fox cub.

He lay on his back and closed his eyes, soaking up the warm rays of the sun. So many different thoughts running through his mind. Little Iggy jumped on his stomach, curled up and fell asleep, snoring loudly.

	He opened his eyes and looked up at her. Not that he needed to, he's recognise her voice anywhere. "Hey Peyton," he said with a smile. "I'm just thinking about Layla. He sat up a little to be level with. Little Iggy woke up for a moment, jumped off Luke's stomach and curled up beside him, resting his head on his leg and feel asleep again.

"No, our honeymoon is over. She left because she used to go on these survivalist holidays with her mom back home and she's really into nature. She wanted to get back in touch with that and she misses home. I understand completely. Doesn't stop me from missing her."

He paused for a moment smiling.

"And to think I teased Nathan for missing Haley when we went on that road trip. So, how have you been Peyton?" he asked.

He stood up and picked up little Iggy, who was still asleep.

"You'll see," he said smiling back.

He led her to the graveyard and over to the trees that Layla had grown.

He set Iggy down gently and walked to the trees she's grown for Peyton.

"These two trees here, Layla grew them for your mom and Ellie. I asked her to grow them because I know how much having a place to talk to them means to you. I can give you a moment if you want?" he asked.

	She looked at the trees "Oh, Luke, thanks!" she said, choking back the tears she could feel welling up in her eyes. She had missed a place where to talk to her mom and finally being able to do so and having one to talk to Ellie too... "This was the best thing you could do for me" she murmured. 	"Well it was mostly Layla. She's the one that grew them," he said. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her. "I'm glad you like them," he said. He pulled back and picked up Iggy. "I'll give you a few minutes," he said. "I'll be just over here," he said pointing to the graves "When you're ready." He walked away to give her some space for a few minutes. "Thanks. To the two of you" she said, returning the hug.
She kneeled down in front of the trees "Hey mom" she whispered to one of them "I'm Here now and...see what great friends I have? But I really missed you. And you too" she continued, turning to Ellie's tree. She stayed talking to them a while longer then got up and caressed the branches softly "I'll come back soon" she promised and walked back to Lucas. "Thanks" she repeated "I really needed it"

And they have Keith to keep them company," he said he said glancing at the tree Layla had grown for Keith. "So, you be up for having some fun?" he asked with a grin. 	He led her into the boutique and started to look around the swim suit section. He saw a pair of black swim trunks and picked them up. They were his size. "See anything you like?" he asked. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Ok, I'm gonna change into these. I'll be right out," he said. He stepped into one of the dressing rooms and stripped off, then pulled on the swimming trunks. He folded up his clothes and stepped back out. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Sure am," he said. She was wearing a robe and he wondered if she felt uncomfortable being around him with so little on. She's never minded before. But he hadn't had this little clothes on in front of her in a long time either.

He brushed past his thought and smiled.

"Let's go."

He led her back outside to the lake. He grinned at her and cannonballed into the water.
