Layla OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Layla was busy communing. She had been scarce lately. Getting up early and working out for hours on end. She would work on the bag like Sam had taught her, or the rock climbing wall. Then she would eat her breakfast outside and in a remote area that not many would know to look for her. She was contemplating her life and the tree next to her was talking, in its own way. She just sat there and listened to him, like she used to with all the plants, her hand on the tree gently caressing the bark.

Shopping, to Dawn, was like therapy. Of course, Here she didn't have a credit card to burn through so it was like having a five-finger discount she couldn't get in trouble for. And, anyway, it'd been a while since she'd had her life crisis, so she was totally over that phase. Even still, it sort of brought a smile to her face to think of how she's gotten away with it for months before anyone caught on, ignoring the fact that it was mostly due to be neglected, as she went through the racks with the intent of finding something to interest her.

In the Library [open]

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Elaine is in the Library, reading a treatise written in her time about pregnancy. She has finally started to show a little bit, her belly now nicely rounded in the front--though only a little.

Still, it's enough to pat and sometimes talk to when she is alone. She is viewing the changes in her body with curiosity and fascination: how warm she seems to be sometimes, how everything seems to be changing and softening. How hungry she sometimes is, and how even her hair seems to be changing. So much change.

It's all becoming very real, and it's wonderful and a little terrifying too...and sometimes she wishes that she had another woman around who was more experienced in this than she was.

Slumber party

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Peyton had everything ready for her guests and she was just giving the finishing touches to her room before everyone arrived. "They'll be here in a few minutes" she thought.

(OOC: You can start answering this post but I'll be quite slow in answering back as I've got an exam tomorrow and won't be home before Friday)

Maureen OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Maureen was enjoying the last of the summer outside near the pool. She wasn't going to swim she had a pad and a pen resting on her knees and she was humming to herself before scribbling the occasional line to herself.

James Lucas Scott - Entrance post

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
After helping Uncle Lucas pack Peyton's stuff for her to move in with him, Lucas took Jamie home to Nanny Deb. He went to his bedroom and pulled on his Ravens uniform for when him and Nathan went to the gym later. He clipped his CD player onto his pants and put the headphones on his neck. He took Chester out of his cage and sat on his bed, petting the bunny. He picked up a puzzle he found on his bed and started to work on it. About an hour later he'd completed the puzzle.

"Yes," he said before there was a blinding green light. He closed his eyes squinting and when he opened them again he was sitting in a hotel Lobby.

"Momma, Daddy," he called out.

She hit her husband and she was not amused.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Layla and Lee (Plotlocked please)
When: The day after Kara slapped her husband. She wants answers.
Why: No one hits her husband and gets away with it. She is confrontational at first, but will gain understanding.
Rating: PG.
Complete

Layla left Lucas asleep. She pulled on sweats, a tee shirt, pulled her hair back into a low ponytail and put one of Lucas baseball caps on. She slipped on her sneakers and tied them, shoving the laces inside her shoes. She walked in a calm, but deadly demeanor to Lee and Kara's room. She just wanted to talk, if it came down to more...? Well, let's just say Layla would willingly get her ass handed to her, but she would go down swinging if need be. She knocked furiously on the door until someone answered.

Lucas and Layla bringing Ianto to the Clinic, Jack is visiting Gwen.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Layla, Lucas and Ianto had made it to the clinic, this is the second or third new member they have brought to the clinic for a small medical and paper work. Little did they know that Ianto and Jack had a major history with one another. Gwen was there too, but she was pretty much under quarantine, Jack could go see her at will, he never got sick. Although, Ana speculated he must be tired with getting the proverbial "Hose Down" everytime he came to the clinic for a visit. Once Jack and Ianto meet, they can talk from there and Lucas and Layla will melt into the background until later on.

The Tango Maureen - Mixer Maureen and Layla

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Maureen, heaven forbid was bored. Her inspiration has dried up and its been a little frustrating to say the least.

Still she still had her sanity and if she went to the boutique she might just find something. A scarf that could give her inspiration anything.

She sang quietly to herself as she headed towards the boutique. "Only thing to do is jump over the moon."

Lucas and Layla celebrate their one month anniversary (Plotlock closed).

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Lucas was standing in the ballroom, making sure that he had everything he needed and that everything was set up properly.

He had left a bag and a note on the bed in their room for Layla and had slipped out to set everything he needed up in the ballroom.

He had tried to get her something special for their anniversary and he hoped he'd succeeded.

He walked to the sound system and set it up to play the song he wanted first and then stood by the table, patiently awaiting Layla's arrival.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Other residents,

Hi, my name is Lucas Scott. I made a post similar to this a while back.
I am organising a basketball game and want to know who is interested in playing.
If you are interested please add your name to the end of this note.
For anyone who doesn't know how to play and would like to be involved in the game
or would like some pointers on how to play, please add your name and state which of these you'd like.
I'd be more than happy to teach people how to play or give some pointers.

Sincerely,
Lucas Scott.

Entrance Post - OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Claire was listless.

So much had happened in such a short time - Noah wasn't dead, Peter wasn't dead, Nathan might be dead, Noah was going back to the Company. Her thoughts whirled around her head and left her unable to concentrate on much of anything.

She was in the middle of cleaning her closet when she found the box. Frowning, she sat on her bed and started to put the pieces together. It was something she didn't remember, but it was repetitive and didn't require too much effort, so it was right up her alley at the moment.

A short time later, she managed to fit the last piece in place. There was a momentary pang of regret when she finished, but she didn't have time to dwell on that when she realized she was no longer in her bedroom.

"... what the heck?"

Entrance

Brooke missed Angie terribly already. She had been gone for only a few hours now but still she missed her. Missed having to be constantly attentive to another little person, missed the baby laugh, missed not being able to leave anything around...Yes, she even missed the crying. She knew Angie had gotten home fine and she imagined her parents meeting her at the airport, what they would say, how her baby would be happy to see them again. Her baby. God, how she missed her!
And she had loads of toys now which were a constant reminder of what was missing in the house. Sighing, she decided to start putting them away. She wouldn't need them again in a hurry. She found a wooden box while she was piling them up. "I don't remember buying this one" she thought, looking at the puzzle inside. She let all the other stuffed toys fall inside a carton box and went to the table. She just needed to get her mind off of Angie and decided to try working the puzzle out. "Not the best way possible but anyway..." she thought. She worked out and when she put in the last piece she saw a blinding green light. All of a sudden she wasn't in the living room of her house in Tree Hill. She was...somewhere. She didn't know where. All she knew was that whatever that place was, it was pretty cool, especially for a designer: rows and rows of clothes stood there, facing her, while shoes and bags sat on their shelves gazing down at her.
"Wow!" she said, looking around herself amazed.

OTA

Kara sat beside the pool in a lounger, and examined the popsicle, something vaguely close to awe on her face.

Gods, since when did frakking flavoured ice become something amazing? She rolled her eyes at herself, unwrapped the treat, and popped it in her mouth.

It was good. Orange flavoured, and cold, and just perfect.

She hadn't had a popsicle since the last leave she was on before the worlds ended. A very very long time ago.

She sat by the pool, wearing a simple but relatively skimpy black bikini, and was really enjoying her popsicle. Maybe a little too much.

Looking for Layla

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Wyatt just got Layla's letter. He hadn't realized how long it had been since he has seen or really interacted with anyone. Now that he knows he is looking for Layla. If he doesn't find her or meet someone else along the way he will settle in at the pool for a nice swim.

Note left for Wyatt in the Lobby.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Dear Wyatt:

Where have you been? Lucas and I were wishing to invite you over for dinner. We'd love to see you. Any type of food you don't eat? Leave a note under my door or here.

Sincerely,
Layla Williams-Scott.

Who: Luna Lovegood (would love to see Layla or another caring friend)
Where: Somewhere near the Residence
When: Friday night into early Saturday
What: She's scared to death and her tender soul is paying for it
Rating: TBD

Luna had almost locked herself in her room since the most recent rash of nightmares and it was now showing. Her usually bright silvery blue eyes were now bloodshot red and rimmed from lack of sleep mixed with nightmares. Her pale skin was more pale from lack of sunshine and her soul was in tatters. She had very quietly slipped out for a solo moon frog search to try and calm her soul, but not even the sound of the crickets was helping. Talking to Layla a few nights prior had helped but now she just needs a friend from her own world. So for now she was back at the pond, watching the frogs and trying not to start crying again. She was just worried for her friends and anyone could see that in her eyes.
