Mallory is lying on one of the docks by the lake, staring into the sky and thinking Deep Thoughts...or maybe just day dreaming.

Things don't feel right to her lately...shouldn't winter be here by now?

A lot had changed over the past few months, and sometimes it just made her wonder...

For a dorky teen aged kid, Bobby has managed to set up quite an interesting array of stuff for the party (with the help of Residence staff members).

Mallory is standing on her head.

She is in the gym, finished with her workout, and has moved on to yoga and is now balanced in a perfectly straight headstand,hoping the the extra blood to her head or the different perspective will give her some insight. After a two day confinement with Presto, she was thinking that something wasn't quite...right. With him, with them, maybe with her...she wasn't sure.

But something was just...off.

Hmmm. Feel free to bug her.

Simon, being new Here can decided to wander. He was carrying his medical bag which he'd brought with him and wandered into the Clinic. He took a look around the place for a moment wondering who was running this place, if he'd be able to find anything better to help River.

Mallory is happy with the progress her class is making with their fencing lessons. True, a few of them didn't take it very seriously, but they were at least having fun. Still, she doesn't get much of a work out while teaching.

At the moment, she's got her rapier in hand and is practicing her foot work and lunging. She's been at it for quite a while now, and could probably stand for someone to tell her her shoulders are starting to get sunburned.

Cassie posts a notice, written in large letters, on the notice board.

Attention all ladies!
One week from today Mallory and I are hosting a Girls Night In! Open to all young ladies and those young at heart! There will be chocolate, finger painting, stories, truth or dare.. what more could you ask for?

Mallory has never tended bar before, but she has been looking for a way to meet some new people and for something to do in the evenings. The new night manager had suggested she might like to give tending bar in Blix a try once a week or so, to see how she liked it.

So! One inexperienced bartender behind the bar, with a the Big-Ass Book o'Bartending handy to help her along. There is a specials board behind her (though why they need specials, when everything is free, she doesn't know), so she takes advantage of it.

If you ask for a drink I can't make,
I'll give you a kiss!

It's all for fun, so she hopes Presto won't freak out about it.

Mallory is down by the lake, trying not to be distracted by all the new people she's seeing around Here while she practices her yoga in the soft grass.

It's going to be a hot day, but for now the air is only warm and she is feeling flexible and loose as she balances in pose after pose, concentrating of her breathing.

Mallory is at the archery range, patiently doing her best to take aim at the bullseye fifty yards away. She seems to be pulling to her left when she releases the arrow, and it's frustrating her that she can't seem to get it right.

She could probably use a break.

Mallory comes down the stairs on her way out to go jogging, and posts a notice on the bulletin board. She fastens a pen on a piece of string next to the notice, and makes sure it looks visible from across the lobby. Satisfied that it will get noticed, she heads out the door to warm up before running around the lake.

Looking For Something To Do?

My name is Mallory Grace. I am going to be teaching
fencing for beginners on Mondays and Wednesdays
at ten o'clock in the morning (by the way I reckon time--
see me with questions). out where the ice skating
rink used to be.

I have a limited number of foils, and we'll have to share
what equipment I have, but we can work that out when we know
how many are interested in learning.

Mallory is sitting on the dock by the boathouse, feet dangling over the edge, staring at her cell phone. She'd gotten a call through to her mom, and now felt terribly homesick.

Who: Buffy Summers and OTA

Where: The Gym

When: Thursday afternoon

Buffy was in the gym doing a work out. She had already lifted some weights and done some stretches. She was now kicking and punching the punchbag. She stopped for a moment to wipe the sweat from her forehead and started to punch the bag again.

What: Lucas and Layla's reception, night, Saturday.
Who: Invitations were given out to many residents of Here, mainly OTA (OOC notes-No Tags from The Bunny AKA Mister Bunny, please and thank you kindly.)
Where:: Set on the golf course of Here, Wedding and reception. Under an arch of 13 cherry blossom trees. Reception held under a tent set up by Ms. Ginny Weasley.
Why:: Lucas and Layla want to finally set in stone their wedding nuptials with their friends and family like members of Here.
Summary: Wedding and Reception of Lucas Scott and Layla Williams-Scott, R for language tops.
Status: Incomplete.

(OOC notes: OK, I fretted on how to do this, so what I plan to do is to create a photo-album for the dress, an idea of what the wedding and then the reception is to look like. I will explain in as much detail as possible what everything will look like. The albums, I hope, will cut down on image overload. I will lay everything out as far as who is doing what, with who and where. I will do my best to separate the post into the bride and groom with wedding party and pastor. Then the next section can be set up as the guests reactions to the event. A separate post will be made for the reception. It will be more free for all, I will try an assimilate some type of order to it. What I think might work best is to have the wedding party separate, then each member invited to the wedding gets to post a blurb as a reaction to the wedding. Then I will make another post for them walking down the aisle to the end and people then can each post another reactionary blurb. the reception will be more thread like. This way things don't get clogged. I will add a string from each person Lucas gave out an invite too, then a blank section for those coming with a guest as a date or who didn't get an invite handed to them, but picked them up from the lobby. You can add your own names, also please add your own tags as you join, so we get an actual account of who showed and not a wrong account based on misinformation. Below I will list all the people involved in the wedding and reception events, their song, who is giving speeches, special dances, etc. Each will have their own string at the top. The free for all type threads can happen after all those threads happen. I figure we can attack each section as people join, but there will be a placeholder there for that specific thread to happen. The Doctor sat in his chair in the library, surrounded by piles of books. He was sitting oddly, sideways with his long legs draped over the arm, and one arm lying limp by his side as the other held a book on front of his face.

He looked like he hadn't shaved in a few days, his suit jacket is in a crumpled heap on the floor, and his shirtsleeves are rolled up. His hair is sticking up at bizarre angles and there is a dangerous glint in his eyes underneath the glasses perched on his nose.

He really isn't as scary as he looks, but anyone who approaches him should be prepared for slightly more manic rambling than usual.

Mallory is angry. She is currently in the gym, kicking the crap out of a hanging sandbag, stopping occasionally to punch it. She got a call through to home an hour ago, only to learn that her mother had been sick and in the hospital with pneumonia.

She didn't like feeling helpless, and was taking it out on the equipment.

Mallory is curled up in an armchair in the Trends Lounge with a large steaming cup of tea, a book and box of tissues. She seems to be coming down with a cold, but doesn't like being cooped up. Feel free to come and chat, but take care not to get close enough to get her germs!
