Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Billy Batson
What: Bouncy wandering
Where: In and out of the Residence
When: All Day!

Billy was bouncy.

Billy was wandering.

Billy was bored. Can ya tell?

Billy was wandering in and out of the Residence, smiling with his happiness in his eyes. He was spending time with the woman he loved, in an interesting place, and even pondering working there.

It was kind of nice. He missed his friends, and missed being ahero back hoem sometimes, but it was pretty good.

He smiled and bounced.

A good day.

Mimi sighs.

Its official, she's been Here too long. She's in the Boutique, and it seems to have lost its novelty. She's been browsing through the racks for the past half an hour, and she's bored. When free clothes lost their appeal, there was something wrong.

Entrance Post - OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Claire was listless.

So much had happened in such a short time - Noah wasn't dead, Peter wasn't dead, Nathan might be dead, Noah was going back to the Company. Her thoughts whirled around her head and left her unable to concentrate on much of anything.

She was in the middle of cleaning her closet when she found the box. Frowning, she sat on her bed and started to put the pieces together. It was something she didn't remember, but it was repetitive and didn't require too much effort, so it was right up her alley at the moment.

A short time later, she managed to fit the last piece in place. There was a momentary pang of regret when she finished, but she didn't have time to dwell on that when she realized she was no longer in her bedroom.

"... what the heck?"

By the lake - OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Mimi is sitting by the lake, enjoying the warmer weather, in a bikini top and a short skirt. Her shoes have been kicked off, and she's just enjoying the sunshine. She might go for a swim later, or she might just sunbathe more.

She's getting kind of bored, and would love some company.

time to get drunk

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Where: the bar
Who: Lee OTA

He keeps on walking. Anger fuelling his actions just wanting to get away from Kara and her frakking stubborn pig-headedness for a few hours.

He was aware that he was just wearing a towel but there was not frakking way he was going back yet. In fact he did what any sane person would do, he went to the bar.

Lee sits himself on a stool at the bar and orders a whisky. He downs it pretty quickly grimacing at the burn on the way down and he orders another two.

"Frak it." He says to no one in particular as he starts on his second.

He's so angry at Starbuck, she said some really hurtful things, as had he for that matter and the only thing that could kill a guilty conscience was some hard drinking.

He finishes the second and starts on the third.

Girls Night In.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Mimi, Layla and later Faith, locked.
What: Pre-wedding sillyness.

---

Mimi knocked on Layla's door.

"Hello, bride to be!" she called. "It's Mimi."

She had a bottle of wine, and had considered bringing food, but wasn't sure what Layla liked. She figured that she could run and pick some up later when they got hungry.

Martha, The Boutique - OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
It's not really all that surprising to Martha that after a short walk on the grounds, she finds herself at the Boutique, browsing the racks. For one thing, she loves clothes, when she gets a chance to shop - not that this could be considered shopping. For another, she really does love clothes. Then, there's the notice she found on her door. According to what she read, the weather was going to change soon, and she'd rather be ready for the warmth than not.

She pulls a pair of shorts off a rack and considers keeping them.

Mimi visits Layla (locked)

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Mimi had finally decided to stop waiting for Roger to return the guitar, and bring it to Layla herself. She also remembered Layla saying she didn't get out of her room much, and thought she could maybe do with the company.

She knocked on the door with her free hand, and waited for a response.

And its beginning to snow...

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Mimi and OTA
Where: the grounds
What: Building a snowman!

---

Mimi stepped out of the Residence and breathed in the crisp air. Was damn weird, the silence and the stillness, she'd lived in the city for so long that it felt almost eerie.

And the snow... So clean, and so much of it, almost dazzling her as it reflected back the light from the sun. She spotted the army of ice men, and spent a few minutes examining them, wondering who had the kind of powers that could make something like that.

She looked around, and bit her lip. She'd never really built a snowman for real. Any time not spent in New York had been back in Puerto Rico. She'd never make anything as impressive as these, but she wanted to at least try to make one.

She grinned, and bent down to start packing together some snow, eventually shaping it into a ball and rolling it along the grass, watching it get bigger and bigger.

This was fun.

To being an 'us' for once...

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Mimi, Roger, Mark, Angel (locked)
When: Backdated liek whoa - the morning after Mimi and Roger met.

---

Mark slid his key in the lock as Angel headed into their room.

"Roger," he called as he stepped into the room. "Roger, there's something I have to tell you-"

He stopped when he saw Roger, sitting calmly in the living area. With Mimi. And he was smirking.

"Oh," he said. "You... you two found out by yourselves," he said. "Okay..."

He looked at Mimi. She looked good. Healthy, far better than the last time he saw the Mimi he knew.

"Er, hi," he said. She smiled back, and it was freaky, it was so familiar, and he had to remind himself he didn't know this girl.

"Hey," she replied.

"So ... you're okay?" he asked, looking between them.

AZT Break

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Mimi, Angel and The Manager
What: Asking for AZT
When: Morning before Mimi and Roger meet

---

Mimi bit her lip and re-read the note.

Hey,

We're new Here, and we were told you could sort us out with meds? We need AZT, and we're enclosing our dosages and frequencies in two seperate slips.

Oh, and we adore the Boutique, it's fantastic!

Thank you,

Mimi + Angel

She rolled it up, and placed it in the tube, with the labels from their pill bottles, and sent it up the tube.

You look familiar...

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Mimi and Roger (locked)
When: Mimi's third night Here.
What: Meeting alt!versions of their dead girlfriend/boyfriend.
Warnings: Well, angst. Probably swearing. :D

---

Mimi woke with a start.

She was sure she heard it, she'd dreamed about it the last two nights. That song Roger always played, the same melody...

She sighed, and lay back down. She could have been sure she heard his voice once or twice, but no, she was imagining it. It couldn't be him. She glanced over at the guitar sitting in the corner, and sighed.

Here wasn't so bad. She adored the Boutique, the food was good, she'd met some really nice people, and it had everything she could ask for. But she couldn't help thinking of Mark, Joanne and Maureen. They must think something horrible had happened to them...

She sighed again, and rolled over. And then she heard it again.

She sat up, listened intently. It was definitely it. She slipped out of bed, pulled on the skirt she'd discarded earlier, and opened her bedroom door.

Where was it coming from? She moved into the living area, and to the side where it was loudest. She pressed her ear to the wall and listened, incredulous. It was so like it, sounded just the same, but it couldn't be.

Whoever was playing dropped a cord, and she stepped back, gasping.

She hurried to the door, stepping out into the hallway. Her heart was racing, and she'd no idea what to expect but she had to know who was in the room next door. Had to know if she was really hearing this, or if she was going crazy.

She knocked on the door, three sharp knocks, and waited.

Another Time, Another Place

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Mimi settled back against the pillows and picked up the puzzle she'd been playing with over the last few days. She was sitting on her bed, Roger's guitar in her lap. Helped, sometimes, being near to something he loved so much. She couldn't play it, but the weight of was comforting. It was raining outside, and she was so glad to be inside in the Loft.

"Hee, that tickles," she said, giggling, looking down at Angel, who was painting her toenails blue. He smiled back at her.

She went back to the puzzle, finally slotting the last piece in.

Suddenly, it was like the bed had disappeared, and they were falling. She grabbed for the guitar as it slipped - her hands were empty, where had the puzzle gone? - but it wasn't long before they landed.

"Ow!" she exclaimed. They'd landed on the floor, she could feel a very plush carpet underneath her hand.

This was weird.

She looked down to see if Angel was okay.

"You alright?" she asked.

"Where the hell are we?" she added, as an afterthought.
