Beyond Evolution

11/5 - The light flurries last month give way to full fat flakes of snow. The ground is cold enough for it to stick, and the storm gets thicker and thicker as the day goes on.

11/6 - Still snowing, but light enough for people to go out and play in it. Lasts until about 5 the next morning, at which point it all melts and disappears suddenly.

11/8 - The doors all change where they open to, all day. None into walls, all just into other rooms.

11/10 - Heavy rain and thunder all day. Nothing sinister with any of these weather reports, although they do all seem to be centralized on the school.


11/1/22 - 11/4/22

9/18: Waterfowl of all kinds invade the school. There are packs of them roaming everywhere. You can put them outside, but more keep showing up inside, until Monday when they all waddle out and disappear while headed to the lake.

9/21: Under everyone's door is an envelope with "10 days :)" written on the paper inside in red paint.

9/23: Muumuu day! All clothes change to muumuus, but don't worry, those are super comfy and versatile!

WHO: Amy Morrison (SLIDE) & Elsa Bloodstone (BLOODSTONE)
WHERE/WHEN: Thursday, September 30th.
WHAT: Amy lets slip the L word to Elsa and it goes as you might expect.

( “Hey,” she started out after the kiss, but then the next words came out rather than anything else. “Love you.” As if they were an actual couple running out the door to their respective jobs. As if it was normal. )

Inside Yana's castle was a wild mix of styles and even species. Some people had taken her directions to dress up very seriously, sparkling and bordering on formalwear, while others -- ahem, Holly Black -- hadn't bothered at all. Some weren't even people, although they did a good impression of being people, at least at the beginning of the night. As the party went on, it got a little bit more obvious which of the people you hadn't seen before were new students and which were demons in disguise. And of course there was Boogers, all dressed up in a half-suit and tie, giving everyone a good sniff before letting them inside and looking very pleased with himself.

The drinks had all been brought over from the human realm, but a few of the demon guests had smuggled their own flasks in, so partygoers accepted drinks from strangers at their own risk. And made out with strangers at their own risk, too, since some of the demons were a little... toothier than others. With Yana, Sapna, and Ananym all on hand nobody was actually going to get eaten, but they couldn't make any promises about nibbling.

The party would last until morning, or until everyone had gotten tired and gone back through the portal home, whichever came first. Most likely morning. Even if the Xavierites were ready to crash out, demons knew how to party.
