Day 86.

Weather: Clear skies and a lot of leftover slush. How is it possible for the roads to be so slushy when there are no cars? Is there really that much foot traffic?

Events: First thing in the morning, Shay and Gwen will wake up in the lighthouse in the most uncomfortable of circumstances. The best thing that can be said is at least they’ve both been dressed for cold weather, but of course the flip side of that coin is that somebody dressed them so… do with that what you will.

The pair will wake up chained together in - for lack of a better term - the spooning position. Shay as the big spoon, and Gwen as the little. They are chained together once by their waists, and again at their feet - Shay’s right foot being shackled to Gwen’s left. The chains have no more than a foot of slack between them.

Pinned to the interior side of the door is a note. It reads:

“The pair of you have both lost a friend you care dearly about. Rather than commiserate, you felt it best to tear into each other. Now you will work together. There is a location in town for each of you with sentimental attachment to your friendships with Ford - one for Shay, and one for Gwen. A key is in each location.

We advise communication.”

The key for the ankle shackles is located on the stage of Gwen’s theater. It is on a keyring, along with one of Ford’s rings. The key for the padlock on the chain around their wastes is in front of the charred remains of the southwestern houses, where Shay and Ford ‘mourned’ Yasiel together. That keyring also holds one of Ford’s rings.

The chain and locks cannot be broken by Shay’s supernatural strength, and Gwen does not have her phone. React accordingly.
