Day 54.
Weather: Morning sees a gray, miserable day, cloudy with a heavy bank of fog that doesn’t burn off until late in the day. Temperatures barely warm from the just above freezing temps of the night before, and all indications point to a continuation of chilly weather.
Events: Good morningcaptives Tower guests! Today, half of the people in the tower will wake to find themselves locked in their individual rooms - including the bathroom doors. Here’s hoping no one actually really needs to go, because getting out is no quick fix. The group that is locked in consists of: Linds, Hunter, Yasiel, Bastien, Jesse, Grayson, Oliver, Arlo, Marco, Maya, Ravi, Morgan, Royal, Theo, Gable, Sabina, and Cecilia.
Why, yes. The computers are blinking - but only in the rooms of those who are locked in. Checking the computers will find, surprising no one, a message from those in charge.
After closing this message, a question - along with a text input for answers - will appear. Upon answering each question, there is a two to five minute wait. If the question was answered seriously, with something more than a one-word or ‘I don’t know’ answer, a new prompt will appear. If not, an error appears and the question pops up again. Doors will not open until every question is answered. What’s more, once closing the initial message, anyone that goes thirty minutes without typing an answer will receive a low-level jolt. This will continue every half hour.
As for the questions? It’s really more like question, singular, but it repeats for each individual not currently locked in. Participants are also jolted via their implants if they try to submit too many one-word or otherwise insufficient answers.
