Who: Hermione Granger and Pansy Parkinson
What: Hermione researching on various things for the DA.
Where: Ministry, where files are stored.
When: Afternoon.

Hermione skimmed her fingers across the tabs of the folders on the shelves, looking for any that could help provide her further enlightenment. She was trying to find as much information as possible on the Renegades, suspected members, known Death Eaters on the run and anything else she might find that could be useful.

Finally she found a rather interesting file on a list of Death Eaters noted during the First War. Not notice anyone around or any hearing anyone approach, Hermione became totally engrossed in the names and which she recognized. "This could be very useful..." She said to herself as she scanned the list.

Tag to Ron!

Who: Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley
What: Hermione has a few things she needs to talk to Ron about.
Where: Ron's flat.
Rating: TBA
Status: Incomplete.

Hermione made her way through the bundles of people as she made her along the street to Ron's. She had a lot to talk to him about, and she didn't like waiting on this sort of thing. It was bad enough she hadn't been able to fine the time in the last day or so, and talking to him about it at the Ministry didn't seem a wise choice in Hermione's mind.

Finally making her way to his building and his flat, Hermione didn't hesitate to knock on the door in her usual matter-of-fact manner.

Third Day of Trial: Accused ATTACKED by Wizengamot Member

It was an eventful third day of trial over the Magic Loss case. The accused were given their first crack at the stand amid boos and hisses from the viewing public. Minister Burke had to call for order three times and threaten incarceration before the crowds calmed.

It wasn’t to be calm for long, for following the introductory remarks from each of the five accused, Hermione Granger, friend to the boy-who-lived, and junior member of the Wizengamot, hexed a swarm of gigantic canaries to attack the five accused.

“Do you have any idea what you’ve done?” Ms. Granger was noted to have shouted before she was forcibly escorted out of the courtroom.

Ms. Granger, who suffered from magic loss herself, has been pushed to take vacation time. Albus Dumbledore, Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot, testified to Ms. Granger’s calm and upstanding demeanour to the Minister and other Upper members of the Wizengamot. It has been the Ministry’s opinion that the outburst was the result of stress (Ms. Granger and Dr. Padma Patil were the ones the Prophet noted earlier to be whom uncovered the link between the magic loss and the tainted champagne) and a side-effect of the magic-loss antidote. “As such, Ms. Granger is not to be viewed as dangerous, but rather someone who has done right by us all.” Mrs. Bibbly, a colleague of Ms. Granger tells the Prophet. Tag to Megsy!

Who: Hermione and Meg
Where: Diagon Alley
When: Late morning
What: Hermione and Meg run into each other, and eventually Hermione will likely lecture Meg about moving in with Seamus.
Rating: TBD

It was a nice, sunny Saturday, and Hermione had decided to take advantage of the day to look for a present for her mother's birthday. She'd gone through numerous stores without luck and had almost given up when she found a small store that sold antiques and knick-knacks. Deciding to take a look through the store, she was lucky enough to find a jewelry box similar to the one her mother used to own, but had lost as a young girl. It wasn't exactly the same, but it was close enough and she was sure her mother would like it. A small smile flashed across Hermione's face as she brought it up to the front counter to pay.

After she had finished paying and was walking through the crowds of Diagon Alley again, Hermione suddenly collided with another figure and almost dropped her jewelry box. "Watch out!" She exclaimed, clutching to the box for dear life. If she had to find another present she was certain she'd go mad. "Sorry," Hermione said, catching her balance and looking up to see who she'd bumped into.

Tag to Hermione, then Mafalda, then Adrian

Who: Sally Anne, Hermione, Mafalda and Adrian (ORGY FUN)
Where: A bit down the street from St. Mungos, I should think
When: Like 8am-ish
What: Sally Anne is now getting kidnapped

Sally Anne left their modest but clean home with her husband. She mentioned meeting an old friend from Hogwarts for a bit of window-shopping. In reality she was to meet Hermione Granger for a visit to St. Mungos. Like many other witches, Sally Anne was losing her magic and she was afraid to Floo by herself. But Merlin forbid Chris found out (not that he would hurt her, but wasn't it better to be safe than sorry about these sort of delicate matters?), or worse yet, his dreadful family.

She bid him farewell just inside the Ministry and then returned to the busy street outside, intent on a fairly long and laborious trek to St. Mungos. Not really certain if she could floo or portkey by herself, she resigned herself to Muggle transportation, and began walking.

She felt strange and vulnerable without her magic, although she was still carried her wand. It was like walking naked for all the world to see. She hurried her pace a bit near the less-crowded areas. She had her own suspicions about Hannah's kidnapping but was fairly certain her connection to the Warringtons would keep her safe. Unless someone had found out about Plan Equal.

A figure just in front of her seemed vaugly familiar. "Hermione?" she called out tentatively.

Who: George Weasley and Hermione Granger
Where: Hermione's home
When: Noonish, Wednesday
What: George comes to help Hermione set up wards, and probably gossip about Ron.

George ran a hand through his messy red hair in an attempt to make himself look more presentable and he approached Hermione's flat. He was pretty sure he was going to get some sort of lecture over his rumpled condition anyway, but he might as well try to control the damage. At least his clothes were clean, if a bit wrinkled. He still looked like he hadn't slept in a couple of days.

Pausing in front of the door he was pretty sure belonged to Hermione, he gave it a few loud knocks. Maybe he could charm her with his dazzling smile.

Who: Hermione Granger and Theodore Nott
When: Afternoon
Where: Cafe
What: Talking, discussing everything going on.
Status: Complete

The small Cafe was nicely distanced between work and Hermione's flat. It was quiet, had couches, padded chairs and tables throughout the room. It would be the perfect place for a poetry reading. Hermione had sat herself in a corner, barely visible, curled up in an over sized armchair. Her hair was down, the usual strands falling into her eyes. She was paler than usual and her eyes didn't have their lively glint. If asked, she would say it was because of work; her Department had been all over the case concerning Mafalda Hopkirk, trying to decipher the whole situation and see if anything illegal had been the cause of the mishap. In reality, however, Hermione hadn't been feeling well at all, and was having trouble sleeping the past few nights.

The whole scene with Ron at the luncheon had really thrown her for a loop; things had gone extremely bad, and just the thought of the whole thing made her nauseated. She felt horrible about what had happened. Maybe it was wrong of her to even think of asking him to the Luncheon, and things with Ron and her just weren't suppose to happen. Maybe he was meant to be with someone like Lavender, a beautiful girl who didn't have many inhibitions and just had fun. If that was true Hermione wasn't sure if she could handle it; it would be too painful to watch, and no doubt he'd flaunt what he had.

Hermione sighed and sipped her tea, not noticing anyone else in the Cafe.

Who: Hermione Granger and Parvati Malfoy
When: 10:00am
Where: Malfoy Manor
What: Getting ready for the Luncheon

Hermione grabbed her purse a little tighter as she approached the large mansion. She very much wanted to see Parvati and spend time with her, but the closer she got the more anxious she became. The idea of spending time in Malfoy Manor hadn't phased her much before, but now she wasn't so sure it was a great idea. She was almost positive there would be harsh words if she came across Draco, and that wasn't something she was interested in. Not to mention the questionable company Draco kept, who knew what kind of people he was involved with. Aside from Parvati, of course.

But she was already past the gate, so there was no turning back. Besides, she had made plans with Parvati and Hermione wasn't going to let her dislike for Draco get the best of her. She had been a Gryffindor after all. So she knocked at the front door and within seconds a house elf had opened the door and appeared.

"Hello," Hermione said with a smile. The house elf didn't respond, just looked at her with a blank expression. The smile disappeared from Hermione's face. "Um..I'm Hermione Granger." No response. "I'm here to see Mrs. Malfoy."

The house elf nodded and brought her into a room to wait. "One moment, please." He spoke before bowing and disappearing. Hermione sighed as she took a seat and waited.

26th Charity Luncheon and Auction

In a beautiful hall filled with wooden tables covered in butter yellow tablecloths and settings, the 26th Charity Luncheon and Auction held by the Foundation of Squib Integration began as it always did. A quick speech was made by the president of the foundation: Mollie MacFerson, a pureblood who had two squib siblings, and a plentiful array of finger foods and sandwiches were available admidst vibrant yellow and purple decorative flowers.

An expensive bottle of champagne was handed to each guest as a complimentary donation by Johnson Flightweather, a squib who had made his money in the muggle world as a car dealership owner. In fact, the free champagne never stopped coming during the entire event.

Following the lunch came rounds and rounds of auctioning, the lots ranging from strange muggle items to expensive artwork and wines. In between all of this, of course, was plenty of time to explore the grounds, talk to the Foundation members, and as one couple did: snog. (Honestly, people, this isn't Hogwarts!)

As day turned to evening the event was capped off with a speech by Johnson Flightweather.

"I would just like to thank everyone for coming and spending some of their money on this auction. Many wonder what our foundation does, and although attitudes have changed greatly, any squib wishing to remain in wizarding society find themselves without jobs or any support at all. The money you have so selflessly provided today (which by the way, I'm told is 5% more than last year, perhaps due to the champagne?) will go to helping support those individuals in the ventures they may attempt. I myself was forced into muggle society to make a living, but hopefully, with what everyone has learned today, squibs will not be so unlucky from here on in. Cheers!"
