The Plot
Within New Veritas there are always New Truths.

The city of New Veritas is the bustling hub of Wizarding society in Britain, situated just outside downtown London. The war is many years over, yet a shift in politics has taken place. Led by Arcturus Burke, the National Peace Party became the leading force in the Ministry. Their focus on rebuilding, organization and preventative methods against another war have won them favor with many, and to their credit, the NPP has certainly brought British wizarding society back onto the upswing. Yet…there are stirrings … rumors of impending restrictions on everyday life, of curfews for muggleborns, of harassing raids on pureblood homes.

If that wasn't enough to contend with, the deatheaters who escaped the final battle and fled to rural areas of England have set up a neo-deatheater organization known as The Renegades, headed by Rodolphus Lestrange. So far their actions have been minimal, but trouble is brewing as they begin to recruit....possibly even from as far as next door...

Not to mention, well, in magic mishap, everyone seems to find themselves followed about by a younger version of themselves. The younger selves are intelligent, exact and not always happy with how their lives turned out. Sometimes the real truth can only be confronted by yourself. It's all a search for the truth in Veritas


The Premise
The RPG follows real time, with Aug 10th 2011 representing Aug 10th 2006 (When the trio will be around age 26 = 8 years out of Hogwarts) and so forth.

TRUTH PLOTS will occur in blocks. The first of which is the ‘Younger Self’ plot. During this time you will be able to play both your character as themselves and also a ‘younger version (Hogwarts age)’. As this plot unravels, furthur information will be provided. To check the progress of any of the big truth plots, see HERE As mentioned before, the RP will be dealing with small town life, political strife, dark magic and the slow restructuring following war. The RP is not very complicated, and the mods and players are always here to answer any questions you may have.
