Who: Hermione Granger and Narcissa Malfoy
What: Hermione gives Narcissa a visit in an attempt to get information.
Where: Malfoy Manor
When: Late-Afternoon
Status: Incomplete
Rating: TBA

Hermione walked with purpose, her heels echoing on the nearly empty sidewalk. It had been an idea out of nowhere, a random thought that should have gone as quickly as it had come, but with everything going on- kidnappings, attacks, threatening letters, people following her- she wanted, no, needed answers. One war was more than enough for a lifetime, and Hermione did not want to relive those days.

So there she was, standing in front of Malfoy Manor. How she had convinced herself that the notion of giving Narcissa Malfoy an unexpected visit and having the nerve to ask her questions about the actions of Death Eaters was a good idea was beyond Hermione. Perhaps it was the fact that Lucius Malfoy was no longer there. Maybe it was because she figured Narcissa was probably one of the only people the Death Eaters would talk to who wasn't fully invested in the cause. Regardless of any reason, however, Hermione had brought herself there. She took a deep breath and looked the house over. It was beautiful and lavish, obviously, but it also looked hollow and seemingly empty. Tearing her eyes away from the view, Hermione walked up to her front door and knocked.
