Summary: Harry lost one language in the war, but he finds he’s learning to speak another.
A/N: There was a time when this story really reflected the prompt; clearly, that time is not now, but I hope it’s satisfying nonetheless. It would not have been written without the near-constant handholding and cheerleading of atanvarne_lj, and it’s a (much) better story than when it began for suitesamba’s eagle-eyed beta. Thanks also to my sister, who’s been reading it in bits and pieces along the way. All missteps are entirely mine.
