Still, she screams, running as best she can and trying not to fall into the gaping holes in the street in an attempt to reach home as fast as possible.]}

[She's busy putting the finishing touches to her lunchbox, clad in an apron and everything! And if someone doesn't stop her she'll be making one for Sasuke too.]

I've just finished making lunch for school tomorrow and I have lots of extra ingredients - so if anyone would like a lunchbox I'll be happy to make one for you too! [unless you rather have the bots do it!] Oh, do you want anything particular in yours Sasuke-san?

Nana can't believe that school is starting tomorrow! Isn't that amazing? Nana's never been to school before but it sounds so very, very nice. They will teach letters and reading to Nana. It will be so fun!

Who is teaching letters and reading? Nana would really, really like to learn and will be very, very good in class and do everything the teacher says to do! Will there be a class for drawing? Nana has only tried it once or twice, but it would be neat to learn what more colors are and...and...other drawing things.

Umm...Nana has a question though. What is a 'curriculum'? Nana heard this word but isn't sure what it means. Is it important for school? Do people need special things to go to school? Does school have rules? Nana doesn't want to get in trouble by accident!

[Evening is quickly approaching in Marina. The artificial sun is slipping away and the shelter has been outfitted with lots of snack foods for lovers of sweet and salty alike, board and card games, movies from the families of guilty pleasures as well as the spooky, pillows, blankets, and even some sleeping bags. They were not easy to find!

This can only mean one thing. It must be time for....

So, I was thinking that tonight maybe we should have a sleepover. You know, like a really big, all of us sleepover. Probably in the shelter. Our house isn't really big enough for all of us. But I thought then we could have fun and everyone could be together and safe in case it happens again.

We could have games and snacks and tell bedtime stories and whatever else you're supposed to do during sleepovers.

[Kind of a long pause and his voice isn't so upbeat anymore, but he tries not to make it overly sad either.]

I don't know if you saw the list of all the people who are gone today, but he's on it, and I don't think it's a mistake.

[Nothing much interesting is going on other than Lyle sitting at a table in the kitchen with a couple of books. He was making notes for the two classes he is teaching, but he has decided that first he needs to make a post then he needs to actually get some sleep.]

I'm glad that everyone seem to be doing better now. It seems like everyone around here has woken up even if they aren't completely with it. It was a bit odd being the only one awake here. At least now, class stuff can take up some time.

I guess this will probably be a bit of a strange question for me to ask, especially since I don't remember much of when I was previously here, but I heard I had a dragon as a pet.

That's kind of hard to imagine at the moment, but I'm kind of curious so I was wondering if anyone knows anything about that at all?

What do you do when you miss someone? What are good ways of not feeling sad? Nana tried drawing again but it didn't look as good as the first time and it just made Nana feel mad.

Nana's also tried sitting, sleeping and going for walks but they didn't help. Nana's trying to be good and patient and really does like this place better than home but...it hurts.

Also, what are good words for secret things or special things? Like a team? Nana doesn't know many words so if people could suggest some it would be really helpful.

Hello everyone.

I was hoping to have this together sooner, but I've posted a listing of the classes and who is teaching them for our new school in the shelter and at the educational facility. Please look it over if you signed up. I had to make a few changes after talking with Acumen because The Doctor and Willow are no longer here, but of course if anyone isn't happy with something, just let me know so it can be changed!

It would also be really helpful if you could fill out details about your class to make it easier for people to decide what they'd like to take. There are some guidelines to help and some slips of paper to fill out.

I'd also like to apologize to all our new arrivals. I'm sure not very many of the welcome baskets went out on time, but they are still coming! I'm working on a way to fix that from happening again even if something like the sleeping sickness is going on. You should have treats by tomorrow though.

[Hello Marina. Have a dragon. Toothless didn't like the communicator on his head so he shook it off. It's lying on the floor somewhere, forgotten.

Toothless is flying - at least attempting to - around the dome, trying to attack the walls with blasts of blue fire. The flame does nothing against the walls, not even a singe. The dragon lets out an angry cry, launching himself at the wall in an attempt to break through. That, too, does nothing and Toothless falls to the ground. He tries headbutting the wall but still nothing happens.

He's just going to keep that up for awhile. It's got to give eventually, right?]

Today, Nana drew pictures for the first time! It was really, really fun, but really, really hard. Nana drew all of her friends and did her very, very best. See--!

I'd almost be tempted to say the so-called celebrations here had been designed with the utmost irony in mind.

Doctor, what aspect of humanity was it you used to sing the praises of? I think you might have to admit you were wrong. These ones are so disappointing.

I've aah...I've noticed that there's a certain tendency toward the holidays here being--

Weeeeell, they're all Earth holidays, for one. And everyone here can't be from Earth, can they? It's just...a bit...humanocentric, especially when there's so many other brilliant holidays out in the universe! And...would I be wrong to assume that the holidays are generally Christian? I remember a few that have been Japanese as well, but...

Well, only acknowledging the Christian holiday of Easter...I find it just a bit difficult to believe that coincidentally, every day here only matches up to either a Christian or Japanese holiday. Not that I don't love those holidays! I'm a fan of chocolate and presents and good cheer and getting together as much as the next sentient being who's into that sort of thing but---oh! And that's another issue. Not recognising anyone who just recognises the holiday for its ideals! You know, like I said! Only organising a church service, well. I don't find that very inclusive. A bit overbearing, if anything. Couldn't there be several official events? Egg hunt, available chocolate, maybe even a belated Seder, or Wiccan celebration of the Vernal Equinox, or Holi or, well, there's any number. I'm not going to keep listing, I mean, that's still only Earth holidays and look at everything already being left out! Not to mention, is White Day ever going to be celebrated or will the system of gift-giving for any Japanese inmates who participated in Valentine's Day remain unfairly one-way? Just a thought.

I'm not saying anyone should stop being religious, obviously, even if I personally prefer the secular aspects of the holidays. I just--I just don't think it's fair, that's all.

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get everything together, but I have a list possible subjects for the school as well as people who may be interested in teaching them. I made copies and put it up in the common room of the shelter. Please feel free to add to it. Some things may need to be combined into one class like the various sciences. I left extra sheets of paper if you'd like to make additional notes. Or you can just talk to me directly! I put names down to everything they said they might be interested in, but I'm sure they don't really want to have such a heavy class load, so please feel free to add your name anywhere and we can sort things out later.

We are making progress on the location and supplies. [Because Cornelia is working on that!] And I believe Kaoru and Hikaru are working on uniform designs. [She's not entirely sure she got a final answer on that.]
