Migrating tool for Mac

Ok, so people have been talking about LJ-Sec and the wonders it can do to pull posts from LJ. But now people on Mac can rejoice. Because there's a new tool that caters to this group. Well...it caters to a much larger group, but computer idiot that I am, I couldn't understand them. ^^;

Enjoy!

Are you using a Mac? I braved the things twiced today, and I'm a complete n00b. I had no idea what this Terminal thing was, config. files and whatnot - but the README gives you a good step by step. Highly illuminating, and what's more: extremely effective! I encountered no bugs, and am very taken with the thing's ability to transfer tags, mood, music etc. It could handle pretty much everything and every post except polls. I had used LJ-sec before and was very unhappy with it.

Apparently, Windows people can use Antennapedia's tool as well, as long as they're using Python. A thing any store-bought OS X does anyway.

Give it a try, it's not magic. :D
XD It probably would be better if I were. Because I'm not, though, I'm not particularly interested in trekking to find out how to work it. But I imagine those who are on Macs would.

Aye, I'll give it a try, as soon as I figure out what this Python thing is.
Thank you for posting this! That did wonders! The README really does do a good job. I have all my posts here now.

EXCELLENT!

Many thanks for posting this!
