WHAT: Constanza comes by Shay's room for drinks and a good time. Shay finds a confidence she'd been lacking the past few months. A delicious scene of getting frisky and feeling bold.

what Rosette seeks out Shay, knowing she could help. Shay's reaction is a little startling and confusing. She breaks down a little telling her, the hawk in the corner gives her the beady eye, and in the end, Shay comforts and they come to resolutions.

( Swift, Shay’s falcon, was on a perch in the corner, and she seemed to be staring Rosette down. )

WHEN: Only a day or two before the Lauren incident
WHAT: Ellie and Shay touch on the subject of Ellie's pregnancy, which reveals the sadness that Shay has been harboring about her own life and loss.

( Just barely getting by isn't the same as dealing with the problem. )

What: The cripples are drinking together and just chillin’. They’re so interesting. Really.

WHO: Shay Wilson & Pella Castle
WHAT: As the chaos dies down, Pella goes back to speak with Shay about Shay's angry outburst earlier in the day. Turns out things aren't fine in their relationship and this looks like the end of the road.

( I'm in so much pain. All the time. And I'm scared. I just want someone to hold me. )

WHO: Shay Wilson & Pella Castle
WHAT: Pella is MIA for a while trying to round up the bombers, then returns to stitch up her wounds. Shay finds her in the infirmary after directing traffic for a while. What should be a heartfelt reunion is rather cold, given Pella's stoic reaction to crisis.

( God damn it, Pella! Don't you care about anything? )

WHO: Shay Wilson and Pella Castle
WHAT: Wednesday, Nov. 7th. Shay and Pella talk about legs, love and crazy dads … in the shower. Because why the fuck not. Pella also talks about visiting The Raft to see Frank, so the community at large would know she left Saturday morning and came home Sunday night.
