This is a first post and a repost of my Snarry-a-thon entry. For those who read Maintenance and Complications, and felt like you were popping up somewhere in the middle of the tale, that was because it is actually part two. If you would like to see the first part - the part in which Severus becomes the Doctor and how Harry became his companion, I am now posting it here.

This story came about due to the fact that if you look at the right pictures of Alan Rickman and Jon Pertwee, they almost look the same. Then you look at the personality of both the Third Doctor (as well as the first, and second) and Severus Snape...The seed for this story was planted due to that contemplation.

Summary: AUAR The Chameleon Arch - it is a Time Lord's friend and his enemy - helps in times of need, changing them - making them able to hide. What if the Doctor uses it and then ends up hiding in the Wizarding world? And not at any old time, but just in time to experience two wars? Why did he need to hide? How can he become the Doctor once again?

AN: Once again, my bookends for Pekeleke's drabbles got long winded. You see, every drabble had a setting that they go in, and everyone has a bit more to their tale. How did we get to the start, what happened next? I take the time out periodically to figure out the answer to that for Pekeleke's drabbles,and she is nice enough to let me.

That said, this set became its own monster, adding over 3000 words to her wonderful 100 word drabble 'Reading Between the Lines". If you do not see her Severus or her Ron in here, well that is because hers didn't want to visit me, and mine refused to act like hers. So, this tale is featuring my "The Weather Outside" Severus and my typical Ron. I don't know whose Harry it is. *shrugs*

Be warned, this is far more angst than I typically indulge in. Much, much more.

AN: The song by Johnny Rivers "Secret Agent Man" inspired this, and then Yen came along and mentioned Harry... so this is in two parts. The first 'Double 0' comes from my Albus/Severus Friendship Universe "Unlikely Friends" (the rest are up at my FFNet account -same name) and the second part "Fate's Game" took this to a whole other place.

Yen has looked over "Double 0" and cleaned it up for me already.
