Summary: When Headmaster Bluebonnet is forced to leave Hogwarts after an engorgement charm goes wrong, Harry Potter, whose marriage has just imploded, is appointed emergency interim headmaster, solving both the problem of the vacancy and the problem of a slightly off-kilter head of the MLE. As his first year draws to a close, he still hates the administrative nightmare of the position, and is counting down the days until he can go back to the MLE. But the Ministry throws another road bump his way in the form of a not-so-dead Severus Snape and his non-magical son. Charged with helping to make Hogwarts safer for Squib students, and working with Hermione to update the curriculum to accommodate their magical limitations, a remade, modern Severus takes both the project and Harry under his capable wing and brings some much-needed change to Hogwarts and its headmaster.
