A/N: This is my first fic longer than 1000 words, so it was a bit of a challenge. Prompter asked for one arranging a special meal for the other, as well as romance, happy endings, and a bit of angst and this is what came out. I hope it’s to your liking! The title comes from the song of the same title by Sarah Bareilles, as I was listening to her new album on repeat while writing this, and it just seemed fitting.

The idea of Severus writing to Father Christmas really appealed to me and I wanted to see his progression from child to teen to adult in these letters; and I hope you do, too!
