Summary: What would've happened in the Forest of Dean if Ron hadn't shown up in Deathly Hallows?

A/N:Before you read! Look at the picture first! This fic was written in response to the beautiful piece of art I received for my merry_smutmas gift, Brawny, Not Brainy", rated R. In the picture summary, the artist proposes, "What if Ron hadn't come back in time in Deathly Hallows?" I found that such an intriguing idea—what would've happened to Harry in the Forest of Dean that night, had he remained on his own...? I just had to write a companion Snarry—the scene that built up to the Mystery Artist's powerful picture, and a bit beyond. It might not be what she had in mind, but it's one possible explanation/scenario.
