Trance had looked back behind her, a soft, worried frown on her face when she noted that the only thing surrounding her was the folding fabric of space-time, the vortex shifting around her as she slipped her gaze downward, a smile blossoming on her face as she giggled, giving her brand new tail a bit of a wiggle. Continuity no longer withstanding, all damage to her physical form was repaired. Turning forward, Trance took a deep breath as she watched the tesseract fold back toward her. Stepping out of it, Trance was surprised by the light that hit her eyes. The Nebula wasn't this bright the last time she was there. And it didn't...smell like this, either. Sensory signals were still quite new to Trance, even after the last two years, but it was enough to make her realize that something was wrong.

Raising a hand to cover her eyes, Trance blinked at the surrounding area with a soft frown on her face. "This isn't right," She said to herself, frowning heavily. This wasn't right on so, so many levels. This was Earth. Trance could feel it in the vibrations under her feet that marked the rate of revolutions and orbital path and the UV rays that were shining on her skin. This was Earth, all right. But it was... It was...ancient Earth. Ancient Earth pre-Commonwealth if the galactic position that she sensed was correct.

Oh. Her brothers and sisters were going to be so angry with her when she got back.
