When a city was so gone, so completely opposite from its name and festering with villains and crime, where did it leave the normal people? The heroes? Raphael was certainly used to taking over as protector back in New York, whether he was playing Nightwatcher or alongside his brothers, but this city…this was a whole new ball game. Casey would be beside himself.

He didn’t bother telling Leo where he was going. He wasn’t his damn father or Splinter, and he was old enough that he could go where he wanted, when he wanted. Tonight, he was scaling the rooftops as the Nightwatcher, stealthy and silent, despite his size and speed.
