Elle had been sitting on the circular couch in the lobby for quite some time now. It had been days since she’d come back from the dead, and even longer since the snake attack, but she was not doing much better. She was alive, and that was something to be thankful for, but she wasn’t quite well yet and she didn’t think she would be any time soon. She was still weak, and it was affecting both her mood and her powers.

She was currently pouting about her current state of weakness and exhaustion. Peter was doing…something. She didn’t need to be with him every minute of the day, there was no reason to be that clingy, and she was just relaxing. She should be up in bed, but she couldn’t stand to just sit there anymore. At least down here, people passed through and she could talk to them.

Elle was out exploring. She hadn't even been truly on her own like this before. She was so used to taking orders from her father, but he was not here. She was on her own, and free, and right now she was just trying to get a feel of what that was like. Her arm was still in a sling, but that didn't really stop her much, had it stopped her when she blasted Sylar? No. He'd gotten away but she'd definitely hurt him, and then she was here.

She walked down the street. This was a dark city, far darker than the Los Angeles she was used to. She stretched a little, looking around. Maybe she could get a Slush-O somewhere, and then it would feel more like home. Still it was nice to really live by her own rules, even if she was a bit morally grey and socially inept.

Lightning crackled at her fingertips on her good hand. She wanted to have a little fun.
