The Rani wasn't happy, not that that was unusual of course, especially not under the current circumstances. The Master had been here, and though she'd deny it she was looking forward to seeing him again. He did at least make life interesting. So here she was stuck with only the Doctor, he made life interesting too of course but in a less pleasent sort of way.

Her new regeneration was still bothering her, the pangs of feelings that kept taking her unawares made her sorely tempted to force a regeneration in the hope of going back to the Time Lady she'd once been, cold, purposeful, content.
