WHO: Elle Bishop & [OPEN]. WHERE: Streets. WHEN: Around noon. RATING: TBD. STATUS: In Progress.
Elle had been in the Hyperion for awhile now, and she'd been through a lot, she'd died and been brought back. She'd been healed, and she'd uncovered memories from her childhood that she was not ready to deal with, and she really wasn't even sure how to go about doing so. But the most important thing that had happened to Elle was falling in love. It was something she never thought she would have.
She loved Peter, and she knew he loved her. And he was probably the first person who ever had. She didn't think Bob loved her. How could he if he'd done all of those things to her as a child? No, Elle suspected she was little more than a weapon when it came to her father, Robert Bishop, and that made her angry. She was glad that he wasn't here, but a small part of her would have liked to have Bob see her like this. Because even after everything he'd done to her, and all the times that she had let him down, she'd managed to salvage a life. And sometimes she wished she could rub that in his face.
It wasn't easy to be good all of the time. Mental health problems were not fixed over night. She'd changed a lot since she'd gotten here though. She was a better person now. She cared, especially for Peter, but she cared about others too. It was an entirely new experience having someone care about her.
She'd spent so much time pretty much cooped up inside the Hyperion when they were all in crisis mode and had people missing that Elle had to get out now. It was her first time leaving on her own in a long time. She knew the threat of Sylar was still out there, and he couldn't have been happy that she'd saved Claire from him. That had shocked even her when it happened.
She left the Hyperion, knowing she couldn't be gone long without worrying Peter. She was a big girl though, she could take care of herself and Peter didn't always need to be with her when they went outside. She would love for him to be with her some time though. He had mentioned wanting to take her out somewhere, which might be nice, but for now she was content to be on her own and breathing fresh air as she walked down the street.
