Twinkling lights on the tree. The remnants of a fancy dinner on the table. A few glasses of wine. It was easily ten times more romantic than anything Andrew had done for anyone and he was starting to wonder if it was too much. If he’d gone too far with the whole thing. Still, he liked the idea of spoiling her, even if it was all temporary. “Sorry you got drug into that whole gossip rag thing,” he said, handing her the refilled glass and sitting on the couch next to Victoria. “None of that...the timing seems wrong to someone on the outside.”

As promised, the night of Halloween the party at Ethan's house begins. There's food catered from the local village, drinks with official bartenders as well. The lower floor of the house he's been giving on the island has been decorated, each room with a slightly different them. The great room has pumpkins and orange everywhere, the back room that was probably a dining room before he had furniture moved out is a dancefloor done up in blacklights with a DJ dressed as a skeleton glowing under it.
Anyone who has heard about it is invited, and needless to say, just about everyone has heard about it. Ethan's easy to find in the center of it, bouncing from guest to guest.
The party goes on well into the early hours of the morning and for those who stick around, there's a breakfast buffet that gets rolled out somewhere around sunrise as the party finally starts to wrap.

TWO PRINCES, TWO DATES
Princes Andrew and Alex took to the town yesterday, both sporting dates and sparking public interest. Prince Andrew was spotted with a blonde wearing the latest Versace couture, last seen on the runway in Paris. The couple disembarked The Odyssey before taking to a town car and proceeding to dinner at the Meritage Restaurant. Prince Andrew seemed in good spirits as the waved to the crowd, keeping his date close before disappearing into the night. Sources say the couple was all smiles throughout dinner, stealing kisses as they made their exit. Could Prince Andrew finally be settling down? Who is this mysterious woman?

Setting: In Boston for date night
Andrew had told her he’d meet her in the atrium of the boat, but he didn’t do that. Instead he went to her room, knocking on the door and waiting to be let in. He’d gone with looking nice, slate gray pants and a dark maroon button down. He had a jacket as well, the same color as his pants, tossed over one arm. It made him look put together, despite the way his mind was turning over just what he was doing. He hoped it went well.
A girl that wasn’t Victoria opened the door, blushing red and shutting it in his face again as she went off to get her roommate.

Even though she'd agreed to meet with Andrew, Victoria was dreading it. The distance from her room to his felt like a death march, each step turning her stomach in knots, her body feeling like it had somehow managed to mirror her emotional state. This was going to hurt. She was sure of it. It had been easier to handle Andrew when she was angry, furious to the point of wanting to scratch his eyes out and make him bleed. But now she just felt wrung out and raw, drained of all her anger to leave her with the pain. Were there words enough to make it better?
She arrived at his door far too soon and stood there for a moment before trying the door knob. She'd thought maybe it would be unlocked and when it was she slipped inside, shutting the door behind her. Her room really wasn't an option, considering all her roommates, but she would have felt better in her own space if that had been possible. "Hello?" she called out, moving towards the living room.

Lucy let Judson walk her a little ways then finally headed back to her room on her own. Letting herself into the shared room she slumped against the door after shutting it behind her, sighing loudly. Wow. So this was what it felt like. She wondered if she was in love. Was it too soon to be in love? Could she be in love?
Victoria sat at the little table in their room, staring at her phone, another shredded rosebud on the table. It made her feel good to pick them apart piece by piece, even though Andrew would likely never know about it. She wasn’t feeling vindictive enough to dump them outside his door, but was saving the pieces in case she felt like it later. Now, though, there was a text to deal with. Or not. She really shouldn’t answer it. She should just forget about him and move on. She looked up when Lucy entered, staring for a moment. “Good night?”

Where: Their room
Victoria was willing to fight for the shower when she got home, desperate to get Andrew's scent off her. Luckily she didn't have to, jumping in one of the free ones the second she walked in the door, shoes still in hand. She scrubbed herself clean, leaving her skin red, scrubbing a little too hard, the water a little too hot. When she got out, she felt raw inside and out, unable to climb into bed in her current state, so she pulled on a t-shirt and sweatpants and proceeded to the kitchen.

Judson hadn’t been sure about leaving the ship while it docked in Charlestown. But, it was a stop and as he had done while with the pirates, he needed to check and see if his family was anywhere around. And, if the one girl was right about the credentials she found, he’d be able to make his way back on board as an actual passenger and not as a stowaway. Plus it was easier to sell the things he had stolen if he were off the ship.

It wasn’t hard to find her. Andrew had been a little surprised that she was a guest, but really, all he had to do was ask the right person. And then he was standing outside her door, knocking on it, waiting. He’d swapped his t-shirt for a polo shirt, the bandage still on his arm visible.
In a room as crowded as hers was, it was rare for Victoria to answer the door. Usually someone else was closer, or she just didn’t care enough, but this time she turned at the knocking, abandoning the others mid conversation to see who it was. Conversation continued on behind her as Victoria opened the door, eyes wide when they landed on Andrew. “Well, hello.”
