Who: Julian and Micah
Where: Bus to Salem, then Micah's cabin

Micah had been pretty sure that Julian would rescind the offer, so much so, that he didn’t get ready until the final minute, changing quickly out of scrubs and into a polo shirt and jeans. Who: Alex and Micah
Where: The Doctor's Office

Alex sat in the doctor's office, fingers tapping as he sat straight, shoulders tight and jaw clenched. It didn't matter that he was almost positive things were fine. That he was there at all was the issue, compounded by all the events surrounding it. And everything else. It was like it never stopped, the litany of concerns that clouded his mind, jumping from one thing to the next. He swallowed hard, checked his watch, his phone, and his email. Anything to distract himself as he waited, though nothing seemed to bring the calm he hoped for.
