I received an owl over breakfast and rather than respond through the post, something more public seemed called for.

I don't give one kneazle whisker about the idea Jason King's politics might be hurting business at Abercrombie & King. And the reason I don't is because we feel the same way. Jason and I run our business as a partnership. I am not being overwhelmed by Jason's politics, forced into carrying pink quidditch gear in my store against my will.

My father is a Muggleborn. He never walked away from his culture, even when he started living in the wizarding world. I grew up with quidditch on the wireless and Star Trek on the telly because of him.

My mum is from a family with a longer wizarding history but she immigrated from Korea as a child. I've learned that people who talk about tradition don't think much of it if it's not British.

There's nothing about the Muggleborn movement I don't support. Jason might be the more famous name but it still says Abercrombie above the door of my shop. That means nothing that happens in my business is happening without my permission.

If you don't like my politics, I don't want your gold.

For the rest of you, come by the shop. I've driven our design team batty by insisting on hand-dying leather, instead of charming it. Really makes our pink quid accessories special. Definitely worth accidentally dying the design team pink.
