Good Merlin. It's been a while since I've enjoyed myself so much at a match. I can't say I wouldn't have enjoyed seeing Montrose knocked off their pedestal even more, for novelty if nothing else, but what a battle of wills regardless, and a thoroughly earned victory.

Congratulations to young Mr. Wood on making it through in one piece, kudos to Mr. Draganov on your extreme versatility, and I hope Mr. Maddock's recovery goes quickly and smoothly. They'll be needing you for the playoffs, as well as for the Neep.

Thank you for showing us what a contest actually looks like. I think there were a few teams that needed the reminder.

I almost got a "Da" out of Gina today. The "D" was definitely there. Charlie was ready to cry tears of joy, and I was ready to get photographic evidence.

Well, I've had my interview with Minister Shacklebolt and it was a fascinating experience. Minister Shacklebolt has keen political skills, and not the kind you can form with under two years of service. Either he's a natural or he's been working his way towards the Ministry for longer than we knew.

He knows quite a bit about the situation in Scotland, the highland/lowland divide, where the leadership is and where it should be. He asks good questions and he doesn't give away his plans too early.

All of these are excellent skills in a business partner or in a Minister. I'll be happy supporting whoever Minister Shacklebolt selects for the inaugural Minister for Scotland.

Minister Shacklebolt is all that I say, but it was clear that he wants Ministry experience I can't bring to bear, at least while the position is being established.

Unless his first choice turns him down, I don't expect to be taking on a third job in the next few months.

Peggy, would you want to do a book on the devolved Ministry? Shacklebolt all but said that he wanted our support and that he wanted the first steps of the new sub-ministry documented. It could be done as part of coverage for The Prophet. ..
