[...] I need somewhere to kip this evening other than my flat. I know it's last-minute, but would you turn me away?

[...] There would also be a small cat.
[the rest of the entry is PUBLIC and posted later in the evening. don't worry, tory & i talked it out ooc :3]

I need someone to name [...] a cat, as I've been informed I can't acquire a kneazle license without a name and that The Cat MacDougal is insufficient.

Some of the cat's qualities are: female, small, grouchy, unfriendly, constantly hungry, loud, stubborn, bossy, and impossible to get rid of. [...] The cat also happens to make a poor firefighter and isn't one for swimming in flooded flats — both qualities we discovered this evening.

Apparently some folks find photos helpful, so [...] here [...] is a photograph of the cat. I don't understand why b

Guess what?

I have eight potential patents to register.

WHAT DO I DO? WHAT DO I KNOW ABOUT BUSINESS MAKING?

[Justin, Georgi, Hannah, Susan]

I don't know why I'm panicking but I am because I just got a presented with the paperwork to submit eight patents to the Ludicrous Patent office AND I DON'T KNOW WHY I AM PANICKING BUT I AM PANICKING.

[Ana and Jamie]
Hey.

[...]

How do you start your own business?

I feel for the Harpies. I'm glad I'm not the poor soul who had to say something nice about them for the Prophet. That was Chudley levels of play.

But I was delighted to see my brother on the pitch for a winning match even the opponent wasn't as strong as they might have been.

[Georgi]
Thanks for coming to the match, even if it wasn't much of one in some ways. I enjoyed hearing what you thought about all the plays. It's nice to have someone explain all these things to you instead of just assuming you know about them.

I'm excited about meeting your sister tomorrow and showing her around the Prophet and shopping with her a little. I'm still trying to get her an in to the WWN and we'll see how that goes.

[Anais]
Can I ask you a big favour? I've been trying to get to show a couple of people around the WWN for a bit tomorrow for a bit. Georgi Draganov's sister and cousin are here and I'm showing them the Prophet and I thought it would be nice to give them a look at the WWN as well. It wouldn't have to be during a show or anything, more of a quick look in and seeing what kinds of things you do. I'd owe you a big one and I'd be happy to return the favour later, during the Neep, by getting you someone who isn't even my brother for an interview. If you can't, though, of course I'll understand.

[Class of 91 study group]
Since we're all making announcements about our love lives: I think most of you already know this but I'm formally being courted by Georgi Draganov. I know some of you will think it's dreadfully old fashioned but it's working out for us.

Don't scare him off, Hamish. (Maggie, you either, but we already had that discussion.)

[Urq sibs]
I'm mildly terrified about the prospect of Georgi's sisters. I feel like things are going so well that it has to go wrong sometime and this seems like the moment.

Also, David, you did really well, and I'm sorry it took Willison leaving for you to get more air time.

Stop by my broom closet tomorrow for some jalebi. In no way do I promise they won't all be eaten by me before you get there. Should probably arrive early if you want to avoid that.

Well, living in Scotland I guess it's a good thing that it turns out Monty really doesn't mind snow at all. Although I don't think she appreciated the moment when a little of it went up her nose when she she was playing around.

And on an unrelated note... I'm not sure what my grandmum thought I'd be able to tell her that she wouldn't know herself about the Harpies vs Prides match, but I still ended up sending letters in Welsh back and forth. Opa's always said that grandmum gets 'more Welsh' when she's riled up about anything - I finally believe him.

And I also learnt that she (my grandmum) knows a lot more curses in Welsh than I previously thought.
