I went into Dundee, the Muggle town by me, and there are so many flowers and chocolate for the holiday of St. Valentine. In Bulgaria we also have this holiday, of course, but it's not traditional and it was brought there from the west. We also have a more traditional holiday on the same day called Трифон Зарезан or Trifon Zarezan, which is the holiday for grapes and drinking wine. Now people say you can choose which holiday you want: if you're in love, celebrate St. Valentine, but if you're in love with wine, celebrate St. Trifon. We say when you drink more wine on this holiday, you'll have more luck all year, and the grapes will grow better.

Of course, you can celebrate both, too. Maybe it's even best to do both.

Coach has decided we don't need to train on this holiday or the next day. And I have a lot of wine.

At the normal Monday morning strategy meeting, Cav, with Ellie and Bart alongside him, announces that Joy will not be returning to the team from Australia. He'll say that the team is committed to finding a replacement but that in the meantime, this is a chance for the reserve squad and the team to come together. If anyone has any questions, his office door is, of course open.

He'll then turn it over to Ellie for the rest of the meeting and then it will be followed by training as scheduled.

In just twenty-four hours I can be certain that I will be free of cupids and love-potion laced chocolates. All things considered, the office has been rather light of all of those shenanigans. I can only hope that I have not jinxed myself.
