[PRIVATE]
I think it's safe to say I really like Lennox a lot but... do I ask him if he wants to start a relationship or do I wait for him to ask me? Is he even wanting that? No, he doesn't seem to be the kind of guy that would just be casual about things. But...

[...]

Ugh. Sitting here isn't going to solve anything though but I don't know what to do. Maybe I should ask him over and see what happens?

[LENNOX]
So I know I was maybe half-joking about returning the favour since you'd made me dinner and breakfast, but how would you feel about coming over for lunch?

Well, it was back to work this week... okay, technically last weekend since Seeker Weekly wanted me to cover the charity match - which was pretty fun to watch, and I wish now I'd thought to buy a foul or two.

The same couldn't exactly be said for the Harpies and Wasps match today. Not unless you count what happened to poor Gerty Gables when that bludger got her - which obviously is not actually fun at all. At least it was a short match?

Guess who has two thumbs and is finally cleared to start practising again?

[MG + Florrie + Shona]
Healer Pye should be sending over all relevant paperwork.

Florrie, I'm available for a physical at your convenience.

[Micah]
Can you get out of practice one morning next week to come to an appointment with me? Pye's got a list of suggestions and I reckon you'll keep better track of them than me.

Want to celebrate?

[Ellie]
Thank you. Not sure I would've gotten back on track without you.

[Pride Admin]
I met with Coach MacFusty this morning. She'll be returning to the practice pitch on the 22nd.

We're still working out how we'll be doing things for the rest of the season but she's planning to do as much as she can.

[Pride Captains (Lorna and Alasdair)]
You may have seen this in the locker room, and Lorna, you may already be aware of this, but I'm telling you directly in case there are things we need to discuss: Coach MacFusty is back from Vienna and will be on the pitch as of the 22nd.

We're still working out how we'll be doing things for the rest of the season but she's planning to do as much as she can.

Also if there are any last-minute things you can think of, I can still change the plans for tomorrow.

[Graham]
Ellie's coming back to the pitch on the 22nd. I met with her this morning. I'm still thinking about what I think, but she definitely needs someone to help her stop burning her broom's brush.

That kid's got more issues than a full print run of Quidditch Quarterly but I'm going to do what I can to get her in shape to coach.

ETA after this
[Keke, Cav can read]
When you have a chance, I'd like to have a brief word with you. Nothing wrong, no bad news. Just want to follow up on the news about Coach MacFusty.

Ah, the post-break fervour. Has it really only been a month? It always felt longer when I was playing. Holidays and parties are all very well, but having nothing but, and no matches, for so long did make one a bit indolent and wan -- and for those with little else to occupy themselves in the famine of sport, seemed to give them a bit of an always-winter-but-never-Christmas feel. Always did the heart good to see them rennervated upon the season's return, though.

I must say I'm very much looking forward to the Scottish matches these next few days, though it's a shame that apart from the Neep, the all-Scottish games are nearly over, and none upcoming until Wigtown-Montrose in March. It's always interesting to see what players take from the opportunity to mingle more, and the insight they gain from training with those who would usually be their opponents, but it's not something we typically get to see except for the World Cup.

[Graham]
I see yours made the most of the charity match. Well done indeed, bringing Chidera Okeke over from Wigtown. Solving your pesky beater problem and meeting your muggleborn quota in one fell swoop.

[Bart]
My condolences on your erstwhile retirement. Portree does seem to have a way of getting its claws in one. How did Graham Urquhart manage to lure you back, anyhow? Or did you simply find you couldn't make piracy pay?

[Morven]
Suppose it will take some time to find out who it'll go to, but at this point I'm just as curious to see if I become the next casualty of the BIL investigation curse as I am eager to move on. I suppose this is why the children didn't seem to question their luck. A promotion is a promotion, after all.

Obviously there's no way to be sure of these things but I've put together a list of possible replacements for me, and for you, depending on whether you're deemed ready to replace me after so little time back in the fold. Najafi might think it best to keep you in place for a bit longer if someone less experienced moves into Deputy, but I'll argue your case, of course, should you wish it. Don't like to take it for granted that you would, given how much you've been enjoying yourself lately.
