I understand that the timing of these actions are not ideal, however doing the right thing does not always wait for the best time. As you may know, since the BIL proposal was leaked, I have been testing the waters so to speak. Now, with the public awareness of Isla Cameron, formerly of the Pride of Portree, the muggleborn quidditchers are planning to make a statement.

Starting this block and moving forward, the muggleborn players, myself among them, will be adding hints of neon pink to our attire and uniforms. This is part of a multi-step approach to bring attention to the place non-wizarding born individual have in the wizarding world. In the weeks to come there will be a place for allies and supporters, but for now we are starting with us.

Along these lines, a cohort of muggleborn players will also be offering testimony this upcoming Tuesday about the BiL Proposal.

I am informing you of these plans ahead of any public action, not to seek approval, but rather as a courtesy to prepare any team positions or statements. I am fully prepared to accept any consequences my actions will bring.

Alors, I certainly had an excellent time at the Portree-Appleby match, though I was in attendance from a personal point of view and not a professional one. And being able to speak French with another native speaker was certainly a treat.

And on the non Quidditch front, I am thinking I should be reading up more on some of these issues that are coming up in the news quite a lot. The referendum, the letters that have been written about other matters too... I feel that if I am going to be spending much time here, educating myself on the matter should be quite important.

Rescheduling the Tutshill-Kenmare match after the unexpected Muggle presence on Exmoor earlier in the bloc was something of a nightmare. But the Ministry's stadium crew did a brilliant job both with the concealment and with readying the stadium for play at the last moment.

They're an underappreciated but crucial part of quidditch. Today I'm calling them out for their excellent work for the teams and the fans. Great job, team!
