So I just realized there is not enough RPF in this community. I've seen all the ones posted and I've read them all, and they've all been great, which is why there needs to be more. I checked the rules and they are allowed, right? :D

And with all the recent pictures of Jake and Van at the Soapfest this year, and all the videos featuring Luke and Noah in the Couples Corner at the official As the World Turns site where Jake and Van are practically acting like a married couple (hee!), it's just begging to be written.

Well, I'm begging at least. Haha.

So to all the talented fic writers out there, here be some prompts:

Jake and Van go to a state fair or an amusement park. Cotton candy and corn dogs are involved.

OR

Jake and Van find some alone time on the boat at the Soapfest cruise.

You can make them as dirty or as innocent as you'd like. :-P

So my mom is watching Gossip Girl and all of a sudden I hear a familiar voice, look up, and see none other than Jake Silbermann hitting on Serena.
Did anyone else know about this? Or else I would have taped it.

Van and Jake did a feature interview with Soap Opera Digest for the magazine's - and I am not kidding - "Man Issue." So it turns out the soap rags actually do have a sense of humor.

The issue will be on newstands April 15th. In the meantime, they have posted some "outtakes" on their website, where the boys argue about movies and comic books and defy anyone to believe they are not completely, totally and madly in love with one another.    

Soap Digest: Did you have a natural rapport or did you have to work on your chemistry?
Hansis: We don't sit down like, "So, Jake, let's work on our chemistry. I'm going to glare longingly into your eyes."
Silbermann: Eyes, lips, eyes.
Hansis: That is a trick, I think. You look eyes, lips, eyes.
Digest: Who taught you that?
Hansis: I made it up [laughs]. But it works! It reads on camera very well.
