AfterElton.com finally posted it's "investigation" into mistletoegate, the appalling lack of screentime, and if the show really only cares about the little old ladies in Peoria: How has "As The World Turns" handled its gay storyline? Well, it turns out it depends on who you ask.
Don't get your hopes up. It is basically a whole lot of this: "Both Procter & Gamble Productions and As The World Turns fully support the Luke and Noah storyline. It’s a story unlike any other in daytime television and one we’re proud to tell." Feh. The interview with Michael Logan, who has been writing about soaps for TV Guide for a long time, apparently, was a little enlightening. Ladies - be prepared that they pretty much ignore the Luke and Noah's female fanbase, which, whatev.
