You all are nothing but rats. Living off of the scraps of people who made something of themselves. Your mistake was thinking that we did not work for what we have. Using an advantage is not cheating, it is not unfair, it is tools that we have been given. Given the same choice, a majority of you would have leaped at the chances. Look at all of those who were originally claimed muggle born, but then updated with the new testing were given half-blood rights and yet, you still took it. Took the chance to live a better life, and contribute to society. There were jobs available, just so few of you wished to do them because they weren't clean and proper. Well, the world needs people at all levels. People at the top making decisions, and people taking care of the drainage and trash. But you chose not to, and you complain that you were never given a fair chance.

You have your fair chance, and you blew it. Time and time again you proved to us that you would rather fight like the savages and scavengers that you are instead of dealing with problems like civilized people. So here we are. After years of being pushed back against, you pushing us into the position that we are all in. It is not our fault that the rabble keep throwing temper tantrums making life harder on the good and honest working people. People who should have had no involvement in this, but sadly, it was them who pushed those in the middle into a rougher position.

At the end of the day, you will fail. Not because you lack conviction, but because you lack the ability to think about the bigger picture. What people must endure for the greater good of society. The sacrifices that must be made in the name of progress. You should have learned this lesson years ago, and it seems as if another one, a harsher one, must be taught again one last time.

Well, not exactly what was wanted, but still a major victory nonetheless.

[Purists]

I believe I've come up with a way that will hopefully deal with two problems at once. Cut off crucial aid within the slums and take care of the Macmillan pest problem that keeps coming up.

It is a testament to our stellar law enforcement agents that the perpetrator that planted those ridiculous and fake photos in the paper has been identified and arrested. The efficancy is simply astounding, very well done. I do hope that this will be a lesson for all of those who would think to cause trouble and unrest. This type of behavior simply won't be tolerated. So long as everyone acts as they're supposed to, there won't be any problems.

All eras must come to an end. And I do thank Rabastan for all of his years of hard work getting us to the point that we're at today. It wasn't easy in those early years of reform, but he managed to see us through with consistency and dedication. No matter what the personal feelings may be, no one can deny that he was critical in getting us to where we are today, and for that I truly do say thank you to his tenure.

I also cannot deny that standing here on the threshold of a new era there is something in the air that is exciting. Sometimes metamorphosis is necessary for the great good. This is not a decision that has been made lightly. We, your representatives, took everything we could into account, and decided that the direction we were going in was no longer in line with our higher ideals and goals. Ones that have moved away from taking the law into ones own hand and deciding what justice is without it's proper due course. Change is necessary. Change is good. Change is healthy. It is time for new ideas and fresh thought that will lead us into a stronger future. It is going to be hard work in order to get where we need to go. Many, many changes will be need to be made in the coming months. It will probably be uncomfortable, however, that is the nature of change. After all, we learned how to transform how to turn beetles into buttons in my Second Year at Hogwarts. Though, it is a practical lesson, it couldn't have been very comfortable for the beetle.

I understand that today is a day in which will be hard for many, because change is frightening. However, I do hope in time that it will come to light that this change is for the better. That this is something necessary to keep our society thriving not just at home, but with our relationship with our allies and that we can become a shining example for other communities across the world.

Well. Wasn't this a brilliant piece to read over brunch. Well done to our Law Enforcement Agents getting the job done, I feel safer already.

Seeing that justice prevails is always so very reassuring. It is also nice to see that new measures will be put into place. It is nice to know that soon I will be a little less worried about things of mine getting stolen when I venture out of New Diagon.

It appears that true colors have finally been reviled. This is feeling a little bit too much of "if you're not with us you're against us" mentally, at least after reading the paper. It's truly shocking that something that could happen to The Minister's fiance.

I'm having trouble believing that this would happen in what is supposed to be such a secure area in New Diagon. Reasonable conclusions would lead one to believe it was either a major lack in security, or that perhaps one of us has turned coat. I suppose only time will tell once the authorities have their say.

It's good to see that the whining is starting to die down. Honestly, there are far more constructive ways to get things done then just stamping one's foot down like a toddler having a tantrum. That is of course, these people have the actual mental capacity of a toddler, to which, I honestly wonder if we shouldn't invest in an asylum so that they can get the actual help that they need.

Ah, yes. Nothing quite like going into work the Monday before a holiday. While I really don't mind going in at all, it's has been rather amusing to watch people bemoan over having to be here at all. When really, if they were to just put that energy into something constrictive they would be done with their work by now. So while they're still trying to figure that out, I finished in plenty of time and now I'm going to go and enjoy a rather lovely dinner with my children.
