I would like to extend my sincerest heartfelt thanks for all the wonderful guests who came out yesterday evening to make our celebratory gala such a rousing success. Moving forward from here, I can only see our future getting brighter and stronger together. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves, I know I certainly did.

I cannot express with words how appreciative I am of everyone who was able to make the Greengrass Library Cocktail Hour yesterday evening. The charitable donations accrued during this event have been counted by my helpful counterparts, and we've managed to raise close to 5,000 Galleons.

I hope you all enjoyed your evening as much as I did. Thank you once again for your time, donations, and compassion towards a worthy cause.

I picked up this month's copy of Magical Monthly and I have to express my disdain at the editor's decision to keep out any political articles, as of late, and focus wholeheartedly on celebrity drama and sightings. Don't get me wrong, I love a juicy story as much as the next person, but we're all still entitled to our opinions, right? A good government should always listen to the criticisms and suggestions of its people. I can give you examples too, out of the numerous books we have lining the shelves of Greengrass library waiting to be read. Touched. Appreciated by the masses. Is this a thinly veiled plug to increase library card numbers this quarter? Perhaps. Or am I being entirely serious about the lack of diversity in our news sources? Also a possibility. The world may never know.

In other recent events, it's about time baby brother got some sleep. He was starting to get crabbier than usual, which is... ew. But I am also incredibly proud to call such a selfless and hardworking individual my family. And thank you to all the medical personnel who tirelessly sacrificed their own mental and physical health, as well as time with friends and families, to find a way to save all of us. We couldn't be more grateful or proud.
