Tallulah's gone home, she seems to be doing just fine despite her brother's pestering and clucking about her. If I thought it possible, which I don't, I dare say she got better faster just to escape my care. It was only a few days but the flat does seem a bit quieter without her now.

I have the work around, now that I have the full process of how it will happen. I just need to make sure that I'm the tech, and we, in theory, should be okay.

Is it just me or has the food in the cafeteria seemed to have gotten better in the past week? Not that it was every truly terrible to begin with, but it just seems as if the quality has gone up a notch. Does anyone know if there was a new contract? Or perhaps it's just my imagination since it has been a while since I've forgotten to bring my own lunch.

You know what I like best about being able to schedule all of these meetings? The half of the department that isn't scared of you all assume I'm a pretty little idiot and I'm just doing as I'm told. It also helps that my boss thinks I'm still doing work as apparently Larken has no meetings at all. Who knew genuine stupidity would pay off? Well, we both did. But still.

Our mutual friend is fine. I got smacked this morning on my way out the door, in fact.

Goodness. Between all of the buzz left in the wake of what happened yesterday, and people's plans for after work, one might think there would be a drop in productivity. I am rather glad to see that things seem to be running rather smoothly at the moment. It's always a good thing when I'm not forced to wait longer than necessary to get into the records room so I can complete my own work. Even if it does mean I get to chat with Agnes for a little while longer. She has new photos of her grandchildren to share, turns out.
