If anyone is considering a career at the Ministry of Magic, there are several internships opening up in various departments. There is a small stipend involved, and will allow those who are admitted hands on experience with Ministry work, an impressive addition to future resumes, as well as a foot in the door for a full-time career.

I hate that last part

The Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes is working overtime to correct this egregious magical error that seems to have befallen the region.

In the meantime, please do not panic. The darkness itself has been caused by a landscaping spell gone awry and the correct personnel for the job are working tirelessly to contain the magic, return Diagon to normal, as well as ensure such a thing does not happen again. Those responsible will be disciplined and fined appropriately.

Please try your best to go on with life as normal. The darkness itself is not damaging or dangerous in any way that can be identified.

There will be a grand opening for an animal rescue on Friday in the old sweets shop on Knockturn, courtesy of the very gracious Mr. Cassius Warrington. Hopefully it will be a very small bit of light in the sudden darkness for some of you. Any job inquiries, please direct them at myself only.
