I guess it's easy to be threatened by those of 'lesser blood' when you've managed to amount to nothing beyond cowards, thieves and murderers despite society literally built to benefit you. I admit I benefit from the current status quo, but if it means remaining silent while we murder innocent people and torture children I don't want to be apart of it. Damn the consequences.

I am so sorry. There is nothing I can say or do to make up for my selfishness these past years. I'm deeply ashamed I let my ambition, insecurities and ego blind me to the reality of what has happened. I wish I could use the tired cop out of 'this is not who I am', but we all know it would be a lie.

I don't expect forgiveness, and I'm not even asking for anyone to trust me. I just... I'm sorry.

If I can help in any way, no matter how little, I'm happy to do so.

It's taken me a couple of days to really process and get used to the idea of a new normal. I never imagined a world without Quidditch but, well, here we are. It was an honor to play alongside and against some of the finest athletes Quidditch has to offer and I look forward to seeing them on the pitch again, someday.

For Mothering Day I tried to replicate the traditional Scottish shortbread cookies my mum brought us up on; honestly they weren't anywhere near as good as what she makes: I substituted honey instead of sugar (those habits formed from years of nutritionists are hard to break) and unfortunately burned the rosemary but had a bit of lavender left over from the plant that hadn't fully died outside the balcony. The sea salt wasn't the same, had to get it from the store, since she harvests and dries her own from the bay by the house on the North Sea, but I think it turned out alright for a first attempt.

Why has no one told me about Bubble Tea? I found it by accident and its pure barra. Brown Sugar Boba Tea with this bit of fresh shaved ginger is amazing. I should enjoy it before the team dietitian finds out about it and adds it to his list of banned items.

Casey, mate, I ran this past my publicist and she thinks it's brill, but I know it'll take her ages to actually get around to doing this: is it possible to partner with the animal shelter for a fundraiser after the attacks? We could raise money for the medical bills, repairs and the vet bills given the pet shop also suffered in the attacks. I'm sure the other teams would get involved as well.
