Superslash Challenge Fic: Family Secrets; Sirius/James, Sirius/Albus Severus; NC-17

Title: Family Secrets
Prompt: Sirius/ Albus Severus
Author: [info]dead_sexydexy Dexy
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 2,100~
Pairings: past James/Sirius, imagined Albus/Sirius, hints of future real Albus/Sirius
Warnings: handjobs, blowjobs, masturbation, butt plugs, boy!sex, and chronic overuse of the words fuck and fucker by one James Potter.
Notes: This fails at direct Sirius/Albus, but the prompt promptly fed me a bunny of novella to novel length proportions that I just didn't have time to write. *pokes real life* I'm a huge Marauder Era hor and the contents of James' diary and Al's reaction to them were something I really wanted to write down.
Further Notes: A very Gen, G rated bit of back story is here: Marauders: The Next Generation.

Dubious thanks: to my lazy ass beta. AKA Mr. Dexy. I blame him completely for any technical errors left in this.:p

Marauders: The Next Generation

Albus Severus Potter waved goodbye to his parents who were standing hand in hand on Platform 9 ¾ as he headed off for his first year at Hogwarts, very relieved after Harry's final words to him. He listened with growing excitement as the final whistle blew and the train lurched forward with great bursts of white steam, quickly gaining speed. As soon as Harry and Ginny had disappeared from sight, Albus grabbed his granddad's old school trunk, cleaned and polished to gleam like new, and squeezed his way through the other students in search of an open compartment.

He knew he could've easily shared a compartment with his brother, James, but Al really wanted to make his own mark at Hogwarts. He was tired of being mischievous James Potter's quiet, good mannered, little brother. After lugging the heavy trunk through several overfilled cars, he found a compartment that was vacant except for a small boy with blonde hair who was bouncing up in down in his seat with excitement.

"Hi!" the boy said, bouncing himself to a stand and holding out his hand. "Wanna sit with me? I'm Colin Creevy Jr. I'm not really a Jr. though; I'm named for my uncle. He's a hero. He died in the 'Battle of Hogwarts', helping Harry Potter fight You-Know-Who. What's your name?" He said all of this without stopping to take a breath.

Albus grinned and stuck his own hand out, "I'm Albus Severus Potter, but you can call me Al."
Albus had to stifle a laugh at the expression on Colin's face. It had been a while since anyone was looked that awed at learning his family name. After Albus retrieved his hand, Colin continued to goggle at him, mouth agape, until he realized what he was doing. "Oh, hey Al," Colin blushed a little as he recovered,"wanna see something really cool?"

"Sure."

Colin beamed and bounced a bit more, "Hold on a sec." He turned to his trunk, popped the shiny new latches and spent several minutes rummaging through various bags and boxes until he found what he'd been hunting. "This," he turned around with a proud gleam in his eyes, "was my Uncle Colin's camera. It's Muggle made and best of all, it still works. Here, stand by your trunk and I'll take a picture."

Albus ruffled his hair just like he'd been told his grandfather used to and smiled, emerald eyes gleaming with boyish excitement, for Colin's camera. After Colin clicked off several shots, he pulled the camera away from his eyes squinting to read something on the trunk that caught his eye.

"' Marauders Rule!' What's that mean?" he asked. He was pointing at a sticker plastered across the top of the trunk in sharp garnet red letters with glittering gold sparkling around the edges.

It was Albus' turn to show his pride and excitement. "This was my Granddad James' trunk when he was at Hogwarts. He and his mates were the Marauders and they ruled the school. Watch what happens when you tap it."

Albus pulled out his wand and tapped the sticker with a flourish that wasn't really needed, but looked impressive. It turned a sickish green color that read 'Slytherin Drools!' in letters that threatened to ooze off the edges.

"That is brilliant!" exclaimed Colin Jr. now examining every inch of the trunk.

"'JP + LE 4 ever'" he read, looking skeptical.

"Yeah, James Potter and Lily Evans," Albus explained. "She was my gran. My dad says Granddad James loved her from the moment he saw her, but she couldn't stand him until Seventh Year."

"Well, if they got married I guess it's okay, but…" Colin hesitated.

"But what?" Al sounded a little defensive.

"Well, it's just… it's written all girly and pink with flowers and butterflies making a heart around it."

"Oh that!" Al laughed, relieved. "Dad thinks Granddad's best mate, Sirius Black, must have put it on as a joke."

Colin, who'd moved on to the next sticker, let out a snort of laughter, "Sorry Al. This one just cracked me up, 'Snivellus Snorts Slimy Snails!' What's a 'Snivellus'?"

Albus grinned in spite of himself, "Not what, who. That’s what my granddad and his mates used to call Headmaster Snape."

Colin's eyes widened and he spoke with a voice of awe, "The one who died in 'The Battle of Hogwarts'?"

"Yup," Albus nodded. "Turned out he wasn't as awful as my granddad thought. S'why my middle name's Severus."

"So, you got any more of your granddad's old stuff?" asked Colin, finished examining the old trunk.

Albus wasn't quite ready to reveal the Marauder's Map and Invisibility Cloak he'd nicked from their super-secret-the-kids-will-never-find-them-here hiding spots before he left home that morning. (Something James had tried and failed to do for years.) Nevertheless, he nodded, "Yeah, I've got this really cool old diary. Hold on and I'll show you."

Al flicked open the newly polished locks and opened his trunk. The diary was concealed inside a secret panel in the lid. He pulled it out and handed it to Colin. The book bore the Gryffindor house seal and the initials J. P. in broad gold letters. In spite of its age, was in good condition. Colin eagerly took it from Al and opened it with care. Now Al was almost bouncing with excitement, watching Colin's face.

Colin looked up, confused, "It's blank. I don't get it."

Al nodded eagerly, "Yup, not a word in it. I reckon my granddad put some sort of charm on it. My dad doesn't even know about the diary. I found it hidden in this trunk a couple of years ago. I'm hoping I can learn enough to break the spells on it so I can read it this year."

"Why didn't you just ask your mum and dad to do it for you?"

"Cos' when they tell me stories about my granddad and the Marauders, they always leave the best parts out; something about my older brother not needing any more bad ideas in his head. This thing has got to be loaded with stories of all The Marauders best pranks. I might even be able to outdo James with this weapon of mass destruction on my side."

Colin Jr. nodded his understanding.

"I just can't wait to get to Hogwarts," Al sighed happily, placing the diary back in its compartment and closing the trunk again.

"Yeah," Colin agreed with a dreamy look on his face.

At that point two other boys, who looked to be about their age tore open the door and asked simultaneously, "You guys want to help us set off some dung bombs in the Prefect's car?"

The Al and Colin turned to each other simultaneously with excited grins spreading on their young faces.

"We could be Marauders, The Next Generation."
