Dawn leaves.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Ever since the initial self-destruct message, Dawn had been in shock. She hadn't left the room not once, maybe in fear of what would happen if she left the room. She hadn't even left to find Murphy and make sure that he was okay. As soon as the the Manager's message, telling of the cubes to return everyone home was made, she started to find some way to gather everything she'd owned in the place she'd called home for what felt like years together, and made her way to search for Murphy before they left, only to find the note on the door.

She didn't know if she was disappointed or relieved that he was already back in their world, and went back inside, closing the door behind her. Leaning against it for a while, she decided it was a good thing, maybe? She had no problem with who he was, and he had no problem with who she was, but she had no idea if they could've lasted together back home. Maybe, if she was lucky, she'd run into him again. It could happen, right? She had to believe it could happen. With that thought, she tucked the note into her back pocket, and left her room again.

She had more than enough faith that Spike, Buffy and Faith would get back to their times and/or worlds safe, but left notes so that they wouldn't worry about her and get out in time, and then she ran back to her room as quickly as possible. With all her belongings in hand, she touched the cube, and she smiled a bit as it finally occurred to her that she was actually going home.

And then Dawn was gone.

Shopping, to Dawn, was like therapy. Of course, Here she didn't have a credit card to burn through so it was like having a five-finger discount she couldn't get in trouble for. And, anyway, it'd been a while since she'd had her life crisis, so she was totally over that phase. Even still, it sort of brought a smile to her face to think of how she's gotten away with it for months before anyone caught on, ignoring the fact that it was mostly due to be neglected, as she went through the racks with the intent of finding something to interest her.

Dawn and Murphy spend some time together

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Dawn Summers and Murphy MacManus (Plotlocked-closed)
When: Saturday afternoon
Why: Because they need some 'me time'
Status: Incomplete

Murphy found he liked swimming outside in the lake more then in the pool, must be all the chlorine. Plus, it reminded him a lot of being back home. He left a note for Dawn under her door an padded down to the lake. HE waited for her, he brought some sports drinks and towels. At the moment he was on the platform in the middle of the lake, sunning himself. In a basket with the towels and drink, he also brought sunscreen and bug spray.

Waiting for the Other Shoe - OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Robert O'Brien and anyone who wishes to poke him gently with a stick.
When: Just before the seasons change.
Where: His tortured mind - I mean, the indoor pool.
Rating: I have no clue. We'll go with R, because this is John Barrowman in swim trunks... ;)
Summary: Robert might be slowly going mad...

The water swallows him as he dives to the bottom of the pool, and he waits until he's almost out of air before kicking off from the bottom and breaking the surface, gasping for air. He's alone at the indoor pool, for the moment. Outside, the weather is changing, and soon he'll be able to swim in the other pool or the lake, for that matter.

Right now, he's uneasy, and he doesn't really know why. It's like that proverbial 'other shoe'. He's Here, so now what? He's gathered that there isn't really anything other than that. There is no big plan or deep plot. People are brought Here, and that's all.

He swims to the edge of the pool, flips over and does the front crawl to the other end.

Maybe he's slowly going mad...

Who: Dawn, OTA
Where: Out on the grounds
What: Enjoying the event.

Dawn had seen the notice ahead of time and was therefore none too surprised to find that she couldn't cast any sort of spell whatsoever when the meteor show began. It didn't bother her though; she rarely used what magic ability she had (mostly because Buffy and Willow insisted on it), so it wasn't a necessary part of her life.

That left her one option, if she couldn't be angry and disgruntled and feel out of place. She could just enjoy the show. And enjoying it she was, as she stood out on the grounds, staring up at the sky with the tiniest hint of a smile on her face. It was gorgeous.

A few hours later

*Murphy walked with a purpose to Dawn's room, he had been down in the work out room taking care of his shoulder. Stretches, weightlifting, and finally he climbed the rock wall. He got some food and some water, then went to his room, found her note, smiled and headed for the shower. He got dressed in a clean black, faded tee shirt and a pair of faded denim jeans, his combat boots. He made his way to her room and knocked on the door, biting his thumb and rubbing his thumb over his chin while he waited.*

Note left on Murphy's door.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
I've been trying to guess for like the past couple of days but I really can't tell one way or the other because we've never actually said it so I've decided that I'm going to come right out and ask. Okay, so, yeah, I'm totally leaving you a note on your door instead of talking to you in person, but I think the point still stands.

Are you my boyfriend?

Are we dating?

Are you my boyfriend?

Who: Dawn, OTA
Where: The archery range
What: Passing time.

For some reason, even the thought that it as a supremely bad idea wasn't enough to keep Dawn from visiting the archery range. Of course, that probably had something to do with the idea that she didn't really give a damn. When it got cold, she'd do the smart thing and go back to her room, most likely making a pit stop somewhere that involved having a drink.

As it was now, she was content to work a bit on her aim, lifting the bow to the target and shooting. She was off by an inch or two and frowned. That hadn't happened since she was eighteen. It was probably because she wasn't completely one hundred percent. But she'd be damned if she let a bump on the head keep her in her room.

She took another arrow, placed it correctly and aimed, grinning when her second try hit dead center.

Who: Dawn (hopefully Buffy and/or Faith, maybe Murphy later?)
What: Explosion aftermath - Dawn gets hurt.

Maybe Dawn was just trying to be incredibly forward, but she'd decided that once, this once, she'd be the one that went to visit Murphy for a change, instead of waiting for him to show up with a gown and plans for dinner again.

She grinned as she reached the second floor and made her way down the hall, only having the barest second for the tell-tale BOOM sound to reach her ears and she looked up as rubble fell, hitting her on the head before she could stop it magically or otherwise.

Everything went dark.

Time for a fall

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Hop, hop, hop.

The Bunny eyes the empty lobby again, just to make sure it is still empty. If anyone sees him doing this, he's in big trouble. But sometimes, well, all the time really, he just has to follow his programming.

Which is telling him, someone has to pay.

So it is that he's carrying a small object, just about the size of an easter egg. Actually, it's painted to look like one too. But with some advanced knowledge, and future technology, the Bunny has created something quite powerful.

"Happy Birthday, buddy." With a quick two hops, he slams the egg into the delivery shoot and hits the button with both feet. After a smooth landing, his beady red eyes stare upwards, waiting for a rush of fire down the tube to tell him he's the new Manager of this place.

BOOM!

As pieces of the residence begin to fall down around his head, he can say but one thing.

"Oops."

((OOC:This is it boys and girls, the big badda boom! Enjoy yourselves.))
