Geoffrey had never been good at the whole talking thing. He just never understood how it worked. Hell, he couldn't even really deal with problems over the journals let alone in person, but Harmony was down and Geoff couldn't stand to see that. They had been friends since their first year and Geoffrey would always stick by his friends, even if he wasn't extremely helpful in matters of the head or heart. Still, he would try, and at the very least, he'd distract Harmony from whatever it was that bothered him. Skipping rocks or throwing things into the water were great ways to unwind, and Harmony definitely looked like he needed it.
Geoff suspected that it was a relationship issue. While he usually kept out of Harmony and Terry's business, it was clear to him by Harm's journal that something was up. And even more importantly, this something was bothering his friend deeply. So after gobbling down his lunch, Geoffrey found himself waiting for his friend by the water, already starting his endeavor in finding the smoothest rocks on the shore.
