Death Eater Apprehended

Convicted Death Eater Rabastan Lestrange is back in prison today after being captured last night in Knockturn Alley.

Lestrange, 38, has been missing since 1995 when he broke out of Azkaban along with a group of fellow Death Eaters. Recently, the Ministry of Magic began receiving reports that he’d been sighted in Diagon Alley.

Auror Caradoc Dearborn spotted Lestrange leaving the Troll’s Head pub and attempted to arrest him. Dearborn was injured in the ensuing fight, but managed to knock out Lestrange and summon assistance.

“That murderer has been out and about for too long!” concerned citizen Hesper Van Hoorn tells the Prophet. “It’s nice to see this new Ministry taking action. Change from how things were, if you ask me. Change for the better.”

Dearborn was unavailable for comment, but a Ministry spokesperson said that he’s recovering quickly and they expect him to be back on the job shortly.
