Zacharias had spent the night in St. Mungo's, keeping watch in Diggory's room. He got relieved for a few hours today, so he went home to shower, grabbed a vial of the polyjuice to give to Robbie, and then met Justin for lunch at a pub near enough to St. Mungo's. The food was standard pub fare, but it was one of those old, dark pubs with high booths that allowed for privacy. A few added privacy charms and Zacharias felt free to let the conversation flow naturally with Justin. On the days agenda was make a list of memories to keep and memories to get rid of.

Zacharias looked at the notebook in front of him, everything from Hogwarts stayed, including the bits that involved Mandy - mostly because he hadn't thought twice about her back then, he'd been infatuated with Ginny instead. Firey little bint that she was. It seemed they only needed to go back a few years then, to when he and Mandy started shagging.

"Most of it is since the Christmas Holidays," Zacharias explained, adding lunchtime tryst where Mandy tied me up to the list of things that had to go. That had been around when he'd realised that he'd fallen for her, and when she had wanted more. Before Malfoy.
"I kind of think killing Malfoy might be a simpler solution."

Luag grumbled as the alert sounded for the wards before he pushed himself up to sit on the edge of the bed. The wards weren't triggered often considering how far out of the way they were. Mainly they were still around from the days when thieves coming by for dragon supplies were more common.

Grabbing his jeans, he pulled them on before getting his wand and turning to give Nate a worried look. "Ye goin' ta be alright here? It's probably just some eejit lads lookin' ta make a name fer themselves or somethin'."

On the evening of 11 May and the morning of 12 May, xeroxed double-sided flyers can be found posted around and left around wizarding locations.

Luag laid sprawled on the couch in the flat. It had been easier to just make an overnight visit of their impromptu book buying trip, plus it gave them a chance to see Trina in a non-work environment before she went out for the night. He'd already made it through a few chapters of one of the books they had gotten. It was relatively slow going as he often paused in his reading to ask Nate about some Muggle word he still didn't know. He would have thought he knew most of it by now, but the Muggle world kept surprising him. Like being able to take pictures of babies before they were even born...

Frowning as he came across another two words that had come up a few times before together in the book, he read to the end of the sentence before looking up at Nate. "Bòidhchead, what's 'artificial insemination'?" he asked, the second word coming out slowly and carefully. It looked vaguely familiar, but in the way that made him think he'd skimmed over it some other book.

Luag couldn't help taking in everything around him as he walked up to the house. No one would call him well traveled, especially since most of the times he did go someplace new it was for deliveries or Quidditch games. While he had seen the picture of the new house on the journals, he hadn't brought the delivery directly with him since he wasn't sure what additions she had made to the property, let alone where she would want the dung to be stored. It would be easier to get a tour of the grounds and then transfer the barrels back and forth. Plus, the 'high society' tended to not appreciate showing up on their doorstep with dung, even if they knew the order was coming.

He took a long look around again, putting a mental picture into his mind of what Sudbury was like before ringing the doorbell to the house.

What: Date night. Hufflepuff Ministry boys go out for dinner & drinks to bitch about life, the universe and everything.

There wasn't enough drinking in Zacharias' life. There weren't enough loose, drama free women, either, but that was another story. Regardless, going out with some Hufflepuff Ministry friends for dinner and drinks sounded like a good idea. Which is the reason why Zacharias, Robbie, and Justin found themselves in the back corner of a semi-posh muggle pub in a booth to themselves. They'd cast a privacy charm around themselves once they had their food and drinks and were now simply letting loose. Besides, the inquiry about the Cannons seeker had reached their preliminary results, so Zacharias was slightly less busy. This caused for celebration.

Zacharias poured another round of ale for the boys as he leaned back in the booth.

"I think we ought to propose the Ministry put in a pub in the lobby. Considering the crap we have to deal with," Zach explained, only half serious. Mainly, he wanted to forget about stupid Mandy running the stupid resistance meaning.

Gus set the time for everyone to meet at the flat an hour early so that he could explain Doctor Who to all the n00bs, which was a very exuberant performance and was welcome to additions made by other knowledgeable people. He was dressed up in his nice Fifth Doctor costume, complete with celery. There were lots of snacks to nosh and plenty of beer and drinks. The two cats and kneazles were left loose to wander around the flat for at least a little while. Gus was strict about the no talking rule during the episode and likely cast a silencing spell on anyone who broke the rule more than once.
